Unsere Wohnung ist eine gemütlich Dachgeschosswohnung im 3. Stock mit großem Wohnzimmer in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße in Leipzig. Die Wohnung ist nur 2min von der nächsten Straßenbahnhaltestelle und 5min vom Lindenauer Markt (3 Straßenbahnlinien, 1 Buslinie, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten).
Our place is located in the attic floor of a 3-storey apartment building in a quiet side street of Lindenau. We have a large living room and a spacious bedroom.
The apartment is within easy walking distance to tram #7 (2min walk) and trams #7, 15, 8 (7min walk). Parking right in front of the house is usually no problem.
Lindenau liegt im Leipzig Westen und ist mittlerweile eine sehr beliebtes Wohnviertel mit einem bunten Mix aus Urleipzigern, Künstlern, Studenten und jungen Familien. Noch ist Lindenau nicht komplett durchgentrifiziert und hat noch charmante raue Ecken und Kanten. Der Leipziger Auenwald ist gleich um die Ecke ebenso wie der einzigartige Karl-Heine-Kanal. Und in 15min ist man mit Bahn oder Fahrrad in der Innenstadt. Auch der Palmengarten und Clara Zetkin Park ist nicht weit weg.
Lindenau is located in the western part of Leipzig Westen and is now one of the most happening disctricts with a colorful mix of old school Lindenau residents, artists, students and young families. Lindenau is not yet fully gentrified and still has its rough edges here and there. Leizpig's green lung (the city forest Auenwald) ist just around the corner as well the unique Karl-Heine-Kanal. The city centre can be reached withing 15min by tram or biycle. The park Palmengarten and Clar-Zetkin-Park are also nearby. Lindenau and neighbouring Plagwitz offer plenty of caffees, pubs, restaurants, theatres and music venues. A lovely district in a great town.
