Von Northeim ist Göttingen schnell per Bahn zu erreichen. Inzwischen haben viele Studenten die Nähe zu Göttingen schätzen gelernt.
Die Wohnung liegt direkt am Marktplatz. Die Altstadt von Northeim besteht hauptsächlich aus Fachwerkhäusern. Bei diesem Haus, in dem sich die beschriebene Wohnung befindet, handelt es sich um einen sanierten Altbau des wilhelminischen Stils. Die Fassade blieb erhalten.
Northeim bietet eine sehr gute Anbindung an Göttingen.
