Very typical apartment in Montmartre.
Located in an old typical Hausmann-style building, with elevator, in a charming area 2 min. walking distance to the Lamarck metro station and 5 minutes from the Sacré Coeur. Close to great little bistrots, bars, lovely cafés, supermarkets, convenience stores, small theaters and plenty of shops.
The apartment has a big bedroom with a large window facing a courtyard (san vis-a-vis), a spacious kitchen and lots of sunlight. the bedroom has a comfortable double bed and large wardrobe.
The kitchen is fully equipped - electric stove, electric oven, washing machine, fridge, utensils, plates, pots etc. Bed linen and towels provided. Wireless internet.
There is a spacious and bright living room with a double sofa bed and a balcony.
In addition, there is a third room which has a single bed, that can be used as a studio or as a bedroom.
The apartment is located in the heart of the beautiful area of Montmartre, nearly the Sacre Coeur.
The metro stop Lamarck-caulaincourt, line 12, is at one minute walk. The Metro stop Jules Joffrin, line 4, at less than 5 minutes.
The area is very well served by public transport (bus no. 80 to the Champs Elisées, bus 95 and 85 to St. Michel Louvre and Saint Germain and Momartrobus) so famous sights such as Notre Dame, Opéra, St germain, St Michel, Musée D'Orsay, Louvre and Eiffel tower are reachable within 20mins. The Eurostar is 10 minutes away, and CDG airport is 50 minutes by train. Regional train stations (Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est, Gare Montparnasse, Gare de Lyon) are either direct on the métro, or have one connection.
Many artists had studios or worked in Montmartre such as Modigliani, Monet, Mondrian and Van Gogh. It is a vibrant and trendy yet traditional neighborhood, with breath-taking views of Paris and many secret spots to be discovered.
Just off the top of the butte, Espace Dalí showcases surrealist artist Salvador Dalí's work. Nearby, day and night, you may enjoy such sights as the artists in Place du Tertre and the cabaret du Lapin Agile. Many renowned artists are buried in the monumental Cimetière de Montmartre and the Cimetière Saint-Vincent.
Places of interest like are very close: Sacre Coeur, Place du Tertre, Espace Dali, Moulin de la Galette (5 minutes by feet), Lapin Agile, Vignes de Montmartre, Place Dalida (2 minutes by feet) Moulin Rouge, Pigalle, fleamarket ....
