Unsere wunderschöne Altbauwohnung mit hohen Decken und großen Fenstern liegt im 2.Stock des Hinterhauses direkt an der Währinger Straße. Da die Fenster zum Hof hinausgehen ist die Wohnung, trotz ihrer zentralen Lage sehr ruhig, so dass man auch im Sommer Nachts die Fenster geöffnet lassen kann.
Die Küche wurde bei unserem Einzug vor 1,5 Jahren neu eingebaut. Sie ist ausgestattet mit Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Smoothiemaker, Toaster und Mixer. Darüber hinaus würden wir unser gesamtes Geschirr inkl. Töpfe und Pfannen in der Wohnung lassen, so dass keinerlei Anschaffung notwendig sind.
Im Wohnzimmer steht eine große ausziehbare Schlafcouch auf der bequem auch mal 3 Leute übernachten können, ebenso ein großer (noch weiter ausziehbarer) Esschtisch mit sechs Stühlen.
Das Schlafzimmer bietet neben einem 1,40 Bett, in dem bequem zwei Personen schlafen können, und einem Kleiderschrank einen schönen Eckschreibtisch am Fenster. Da das Schlafzimmer nur durch das Wohnzimmer zu betreten ist, eignet sich die Wohnung vor allem für Singles oder Pärchen.
Bad und Toilette sind in getrennten Räumen, das Badezimmer ist mit einer Badewanne ausgestattet, ebenso sind Waschmaschine und Wäscheständer im Bad vorhanden.

Out beautiful apartment with high ceilings and large windows is located on the 2nd floor of the rear building directly on Währinger Straße. Despite its central location, the apartment is very quiet, as the windows face the yard, so that one can comfortably leave the windows open at night in summer.
The kitchen was newly installed when we moved in about 1.5 years ago. It is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, smoothie maker, toaster and a mixer. In addition, we would leave all our dishes including pots and pans in the apartment, so that no purchase is necessary.
In the living room there is a large comfortable pull-out couch on which 3 people can sleep comfortably, as well as a large table with six chairs (also enlargable).
The bedroom offers a double bed (1,4m), a wardrobe and a nice corner desk at the window. Since the bedroom can only be entered through the living room, the apartment is especially suitable for singles or couples.
Bathroom and toilet are in separate rooms, in the bathroom there is a bathtub as well as a washing machine and a drying rack.

Die Wohnung liegt direkt an der Währinger Straße im 9.Bezirk (Alsergrund) auf Höhe der Straßenbahnstation "Schwarzspanierstraße" (37, 38, 40, 41, 42) und ist auf Grund ihrer Nähe zum Schottentor super angebunden. Mit der Tram ist man in 2-3min bei der U2 Station "Schottentor" und in ca. 5min an der U6 Station "Währinger Straße-Volksoper".
Alternativ sind es zu Fuß ca. 5-7min zum "Schottentor" von dort fahren U2, 1,37, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 71, D, 1A, 40A sowie diverse Nachtbusse.
In ca. 2-3min Laufdistanz ist ein Spar (Liechtensteinstraße) sowie ein Billa (Garnisonsgasse). Der nächste Hofer (Nußdorfer Straße) ist ca. 5-7min zu Fuß entfernt.
Der 9.Bezirk (Alsergrund) ist sehr schön und mit vielen weiteren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ausgestattet. An der Währigner Straße selbst sind unzählige nette Cafes. Ebenfalls ganz in der Nähe ist die Porzelangasse und das Servietenviertel mit vielen weitern Restaurants und Cafes. Auch der Donaukanal, zum Spazieren oder Joggen ist mit ca. 10min Laufdistanz nicht weit. Die vielen Wiener Sehenswürdigkeiten im 1.Bezirk oder am Ring sind auch alle leicht zu Fuß oder noch schneller mit der Tram erreichbar.
Für Studierende ist die Wohnung ideal gelegen. Der Hauptcampus der Uni Wien ist in weniger als 10min zu Fuß erreichen, der Campus "Altes AKH" in 3min und zur Fakultät der Mathematik, Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Informatik und Rechtswissenschaften jeweils ca 5-10min zu Fuß.
Zum Campus der Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (WU) sind es ca. 15-20min mit der U2.

The apartment is located directly on Währinger Straße in the 9th district (Alsergrund) opposite of the tram station "Schwarzspanierstraße" (tram number 37, 38, 40, 41 and 42) and is very well connected due to its proximity to subway station Schottentor. By tram you can reach the U2 station "Schottentor" in 2-3 minutes and the U6 station "Währinger Straße-Volksoper" in about 5 minutes. Alternatively, it takes about 5-7 min on foot to the "Schottentor" from there you can access U2, 1, 37, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 71, D, 1A, 40A as well as several night buses
Within 2-3 minutes walking distance is a "Spar" Supermarket (in Liechtensteinstraße) and a "Billa" supermarket (in Garnisonsgasse). The next "Hofer" market (in Nußdorfer Straße) is about 5-7 minutes walk away.
The 9th district (Alsergrund) is very nice and offers many shopping possibilities. At the Währigner Straße itself are countless nice cafes and also very close is the Porzelangasse and the Servietenviertel with many restaurants and cafes. Also the Danube Canal, for walking or jogging, is not far away with a walking distance of approximately 10 minutes. The many Viennese sightseeing spots in the 1st district or on the Ring road are all easily accessible on foot or even faster by tram.
The apartment is ideally located for students. The main campus of the University of Vienna is less than 10 minutes' walk away, the "Altes AKH campus" 3 minutes' walk away and the Faculty of Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science and Law are all about 5-10 minutes' walk away.
The campus of the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration (WU) is about 15-20 minutes by subway line U2.

Da mein Freund und ich von ca. Mitte September bis Ende Dezember im Ausland sind vermieten wir unsere wunderschöne möblierte Altbauwohnung ganz in der Nähe zum Schottentor.
Wir sind flexibel bezüglich des Einzugsdatums, prinzipiell ist eine Anmietung ab Mitte September (um den 15.09.) möglich, ab Anfang Oktober ist dementsprechend natürlich auch okay.
In der Gesamtmiete von 830 EUR/Monat sind bereits alle Kosten für Wasser, Strom & Internet enthalten.

My boyfriend and I are going abroad for 4 months from mid-September to the end of December and we are renting out our beautiful furnished typically Viennese apartment very close to the Schottentor.
We are flexible regarding the move-in date, in principle it is possible to rent from mid-September (around the 15th). But of course Early October would also be possible.
The total rent of 830 EUR/month already includes all costs for water, electricity and internet.
