In Search of a Room for Rent: Starting October 1st

Hello there! I'm Susnighdha, and I come from India with exciting plans to pursue a Master's in Computational and Applied Mathematics at FAU in Germany, starting in October 2023.

Let me introduce myself a bit. I'm fluent in English and have already begun learning German. While I'm still in the early stages, I can grasp basic phrases and directions, and I'm determined to improve further. Apart from English, I speak Bengali (my native language), Hindi, and a bit of broken French.

I'm an outgoing person and can't wait to meet new people and explore new places. Doing things together sounds wonderful to me, and I don't mind contributing to chores around the place. I'm also tidy, so you won't have to worry about me making a mess. One downside is that I always have my headphones on, so you might have to call me twice. But the upside is that I'm always up for a conversation, so if you need someone to talk to, I'll be there for you.

When it comes to fun and adventure, count me in! Whether it's strolling through the farmers market, enjoying a weekend hiking trip, hitting the club on a Friday night, or simply making a quick trip to Lidl for essentials, I'm totally in for any of these plans!

I absolutely love movies and books. Currently, I'm engrossed in Yoko Ogawa's "Memory Police." Meaningful plot films resonate with me, and some of my favorite directors are 'Yorgos Lanthimos,' 'Wes Anderson,' 'Edward Yang,' and 'Wong Kar Wai.' I've even completed their entire filmography! In 2022, 'Everything, Everywhere, all at once' and 'Aftersun' were my absolute favorites. 2023 has been a lot of fun, especially with all the buzz about Barbenheimer. Although I haven't seen many German films, 'M,' 'Good Bye, Lenin,' and 'Coffee in Berlin' left a lasting impression on me.
