Looking for a 1 bedroom apartment

Hello all! My name is Blina K and I'm moving this October to Freising to start my master's degree in Life Science Economics and Policy at TUM.

I'm looking for a bedroom, preferably not more than 550 Euros/month, and within a 20 min walk/bike ride to the campus. Hopefully, the place will allow dogs/cats, have a washing machine, and a balcony (but I can live without these as well).

Here is a little bit about myself. I was born in Albania but have been living in the US for the past 10 years. I majored in psychology and environmental policy and worked for a year as a research assistant for an anti-fracking lobby firm. I love hiking, traveling, spending time outdoors, reading, wine and cheesy TV shows. Last year I opened a shelter in Albania and now have a dog (Noel) and a cat (Misu), and am hoping I can bring one of them with me to Germany (the other one will stay with my parents).

As far as housemates go, I'm very easygoing and tidy. I have lived with roommates/housemates since college. I'm respectful of shared areas and clean up after myself. I mostly to music wearing my headphones. I recently became vegan and am slowly learning to cook. While in Freising I expect I will spend most of my weekdays studying either in my room or the library (I usually put on a show as I study) so I won't be around much, but on the weekends I usually go out. I would love having movie nights with my housemates or going out together.
