1 person flat close to university

I am a research scientist (Dr. of Chemistry) coming to Heidelburg University from the UK and need accomodation from June until September 2021. I would like to find a small flat or apartment with a bathroom and complete kitchen facilities for one person, best within walking distance of the university. A landlord who speaks English would be ideal as my German is very limited unfortunately, and I will need to conclude as much as possible online before arriving in Germany.
About me: I'm generally a quiet resident although when bars and cafes are open I enjoy a drink after work. I play video games and enjoy mostly stay at home hobbies, I have little interest in sport other than swimming and watching motor racing. My main interest is my research so I would like a comfortable place to live and do some work from home when not in the university.
