Single graduate student looking for an apartment

Liebe Vermieter und Nachmietersuchende,

I am a Finnish graduate student, who is looking a flat in Kiel for a three-year PhD project at GEOMAR. I am moving to this wonderful harbor city in March. I don't have any pets and I don't smoke.

The apartment should be within the biking distance from the institute (max. 8 km). I love cooking, so it would be an advance, if the flat would have a well equipped kitchen with stove, oven, fridge and place for food preparation. A washing machine in a flat or in a housing association would also be a benefit. The total costs per month should be less than 400 euros.

I would like to see pictures of the flat and, if possible, the ground plan. I am arriving to Kiel on the 28th of February and I would like to visit the possible apartments as soon as possible and move in during March.
