I'm a postdoc in Mainz Univ. and I'd like to rent a furnished apartment (or a studio, or a single room in a flatshare) in Mainz, preferably around the campus, like Muenchfeld and Bretzenheim. The rent is expected to be under 400 euros by month (including expenses for electricity and heating etc.). I speak English and a little French, no German yet. My current residence contract stops around November, and I'd like to move around December.
