Hello everyone !
I am leaving this wonderful WG after a year spent in it. The flat is composed of 4 bedrooms, one kitchen, one common area, a bathroom and a separate toilet. You only need to bring your bags as the kitchen is fully serviced with dishwasher, cutlery and crockery, pots, pans, etc. We have a very fast Wi-Fi with 250Mbps.
The room is 15 sqm with a HUGE 140x200 loftbed. it is 2 metres high with 1 meter of space above which means that you get to use all of the floor area and can comfortably sit and read at night with lots of headroom to spare. It's super sturdy and comes with a 6 month old mattress from Emma which is in pristine condition since I always used a mattress protector from day one. I need to leave behind all of the furniture and therefore will ask of my successor to take it against a fee which we can negotiate.
Included in that fee are :
-A 140x200 Mattress and loft bed
-One shoe cabinet
-Three shelves out of which one has the desk attached
-One desk chair
-One sofa
-One simple dresser for the clothes.
-A set of brand new blinds that are already installed on the window.
The value of these is way above the intended fee, but it has been passed down tenant to tenant with each time a decreased price.
The room is super well lit and receives the sun all day long as it is south-facing.
The apartment is directly on the eastern end of Zeil which means that you are 5 minutes away from the platform of the S- and U-bahn in Konstablerwache, 10 minutes away from the Berger Strasse/Zoo or the MyZeil shopping center by foot, 15 minutes to the river. You will be essentially in the very center of Frankfurt.
You have multiple restaurants around you and at least 5 cafés within 2 minutes of walking. The Tegut at Konsti closes at 23:00 every day except sundays and there is a huge newly open späti where you can buy beer at any time of the day and until late at night almost on your doorstep.
The flatshare is rather quiet, it is definitely on the "kein Zweck" side because we have busy schedules and are all international, which means that there is often someone traveling out. However we do share a drink once in a while and we definitely spend time chatting when we cross each other in the common areas. The apartment is strictly non-smoker.
The room is 363€ all inclusive thanks to the contract being unchanged since pre-covid times. The owner is old and has sent out notice to all tenants that they will need them to vacate the premises before the 1st of November 2023.
Kaution is 800€ and overtaking of the furniture (mattress included) is 450€ negotiable. I will give preference to someone who will take over. You can easily sell all of it for more, I unfortunately do not have enough time to do it, as I need to move overseas for work.
The apartment is handled with a special contract where someone can take over the lease of an individual tenant without the landlord's signature. You will basically be signing a paper that states that you are taking over my room and rent, together with all other tenants approval and signature.
We do not have a specific requirement for gender so please do not hesitate to introduce yourself with your age, occupation, who you are and what you usually do in your free time. It'd be nice to have a quick video call on whatsapp so we could get to know each other and see if you'd be the right fit.
