Katzenfreundliche WG gesucht (ab Juni/Juli)

Hallo liebe zukünftige Mitbewohner*innen,

ich bin Leonie (33) und Mama der besten Kater überhaupt, Mick&Keith (5). Ich bin Literaturwissenschaftlerin, unterrichte zurzeit Deutsch als Fremdsprache und bin auf der Suche nach einer ruhigen WG in Berlin – gerne zur Untermiete oder dauerhaft. Nach meinem Promotionsstudium in den USA lebe ich seit letztem Herbst wieder in Deutschland. Weil meine Untermiete in Neukölln Ende Juni ausläuft, suche ich eine neue Bleibe.

Ich würde mich als ruhige, verantwortungsbewusste und zuverlässige Mitbewohnerin beschreiben, der Ordnung und ein positives Miteinander wichtig sind. In meiner Freizeit gehe ich gerne ins Theater, auf Konzerte und bin mit Freund*innen unterwegs. Außerdem fahre ich gerne Fahrrad. Über Parties oder Lärm musst du dir bei mir aber definitiv eine Sorgen machen. Mick und Keith sind super lieb und verkuschelt, anfangs aber auch recht scheu. Sie sind kastriert, stubenrein und halten sich ausschließlich drinnen auf.

Wichtig wäre mir eine Wohnatmosphäre, in der man abschalten und auftanken kann und bei Bedarf einen Rückzugsort hat. Gemeinsames Kochen ab und an oder einfach ein Käffchen in der Küche wären auch toll, sind aber kein Muss. Außerdem freue ich mich über offene und respektvolle Kommunikation. Mit Frauen und LGBTQIA+ Mitbewohner*innen fühle ich mich am wohlsten. Ich habe in den letzten Jahren alleine gewohnt, bringe aber auch jede Menge WG-Erfahrung mit.

Was die Lage angeht, bin ich offen, wobei natürlich eine Wohnung innerhalb des Rings ideal wäre.

Falls dir das wichtig ist: Ich bin Vegetarierin.

Hello dear future flatmates,

I'm Leonie (33) and the mom of the two best cats ever, Mick & Keith (5). I'm a literary scholar, currently teaching German as a foreign language, and I’m looking for a quiet shared flat in Berlin – either a sublet or something more long-term. After completing my PhD in the U.S., I’ve been back in Germany since last fall. Since my current sublet in Neukölln ends in June, I’m now looking for a new place to live.

I’d describe myself as a quiet, responsible, and reliable flatmate who values cleanliness and a positive living atmosphere. In my free time, I enjoy going to the theater, shows, or just spending quality time with friends. I also love riding bikes. But don’t worry – I’m definitely not one for parties or noise. Mick and Keith are super sweet and cuddly, although they can be a bit shy at first. They’re neutered, house-trained, and strictly indoor cats.

It’s important to me that home is a space where one can recharge and unwind, and where there’s room to retreat when needed. I'd love to cook together now and then or just have a coffee in the kitchen, though that’s by no means a requirement. I also value open and respectful communication. I feel most comfortable living with women and LGBTQIA+ housemates. While I've been living alone for the past few years, I also got plenty of experience with WGs.

I’m open in terms of location, though of course a flat within the Ring would be ideal.
