The apartment is located in the ground floor (Tiefpaterre) in our old Guest house and is perfect for a couple. We designed an open space apartment with a bed-sofa, desk- area and chair and separate bathroom. In past times the house was used to be an profesor house. We try to keep the old charme of this beautiful house. Additionally this apartment got a fully equiped kitchen to prepare meals for yourself, inkluding fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave and a table with 2 seats for having meals. This fully equiped apartment is ideal for students/PhD-students/scientists and post-docs. But also other interests are welcom. Main Campus of University and other institutes are located in walking distance. The entire apartment is completely brandnew. You will be the first renter. All furniture, all mashines are new. The apartment has a high quality ground heating system, that is especially in winter times very cosy. The separate bathroom is very large and as well brandnew. The highlight is small private terrasse of ca. 4 m² that you reach via a door from the working area. There is a little table with two chairs.
Right next to your apartment there is the washing mashine room of the house. By dropping a coin you can wash your clothes easily yourself.
WiFi, water, hot water and heating is included. You find a big desk and wardrobe, separate table, shelf and other furniture. You dont have to bring anything from abroad, just your personal belongings. Minimum stay is 6 months. You are welcome to join a small international community of scientists staying in the house and is ready to welcome you in several languages.

It is situated in the TU Dresden Campus, Bus stop is across the street, distance from main station is 1 km, city centre is
2 km away. Shopping facilities are also in the area only a couple of minutes by foot (Nürnberger Platz). Students dining room (Mensa) is in walking distance 1 minute from the house. In the neighborhouse is a Kebab house. An ATM is 100m by foot, next supermarket is about 300m from the house.
There is a nice garden behind the house for common use for relaxing, drying laundry or have barbecue with friends.
It is easy to use bicycle in Dresden, in front of the house we have bicycle rack, a washing machine in the basement is for common use - for a small amount (2 Euros) you can obtain washing coins from the landlord to run the mashine.
The common areas of the house are cleaned one a week. Your apartment have to clean yourself. There is a small room with cleaning equipment that we provide for common use.
As a student you can use the public transport such as trains and busses for free in Dresden. Easy to get around.
