TUM Master student looking for a WG room – Garching / Munich North, from October 2026

Hi! My name is Federico, I’m 21 years old, turning 22 in September, and I’m from Italy. From October 2026 I will start the M.Sc. Mathematics in Data Science at TUM in Garching.

I’m looking for a WG room from 1 October 2026, ideally in Garching or with a convenient connection to Garching-Forschungszentrum. I would ideally like to stay for around one year, but I’m flexible regarding the exact duration and would also consider stays between 6 and 24 months.

I’m calm, tidy, respectful and a non-smoker. In my free time I enjoy playing chess, going to the gym, watching films and series, reading, travelling and spending time with friends. I like a friendly WG where people can occasionally spend time together, while also respecting everyone’s privacy and quiet time.

I speak Italian and English. I don’t speak German yet, but I’m planning to learn it while living in Germany.

Financially I will be supported by my parents, who can provide a parental guarantee and proof of income if required.

My preferred budget is up to around €800 per month, with some flexibility for a particularly good room. Furnished or unfurnished rooms are both fine.

Anmeldung with a Wohnungsgeberbestätigung would be important for me.
