The apartment is located on the top floor of a building with small shops on the bottom floor. The apartment is very large, and can easily fit a family with multiple older children or teenagers. The apartment is divided into the main floor and an upper loft.

The main floor has laminate flooring, a bathroom with washing machine hookups, 2 bedrooms, and a large main living room with large windows, which provide a good view of the town, as well as the nearby black forest. A large U-shape built-in kitchen is included in the rent price, and includes the standard set of needed appliances (oven, range, sink, and refrigerator), as well as under-cabinet lighting. A satellite connection is present in this room. The bathroom, one of the bedrooms, and the living room can all be locked with a key if needed.

The upstairs has two bedrooms. Both have built-closets, laminate flooring, and ample lighting from windows. There are various other pieces of furniture in the hallway which are included in the rental price. A bathroom with shower is also located on the floor. One of the doors of the top level is lockable, and was used as an Au Pair room in the past.

A cellar storage area is also included, as is a secluded and covered area just outside the entrance to store bikes. Also, the electrical lines, outlets, and fuse-boxes in the apartment were completely replaced by a certified electrician just prior to our moving in less than a year ago.
