Die Wohnung besteht aus Flur, Bad mit Badewanne, großer Wohnküche mit Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine, einem kleinen angrenzenden Balkon und zwei Zimmern. Das ganze liegt im fünften Stock, sodass man viel Treppensteigen muss, dafür aber die beste Aussicht hat und die Wohnung tagsüber immer hell ist. Die Wohnung hat einen Holzfußboden, an der nordlichen Fensterseite sind Dachschrägen, allerdings sind sie so steil, dass man durch sie kaum Platz verliert.
Die Wohnung liegt im Dortmunder Norden, direkt an der U-Bahn Haltestelle "Münsterstraße". Mit der U-Bahn ist man also in ca.
5 Minuten in der Stadt und ca. 20 Minuten an der Uni. Falls die Bahn nicht fährt, oder einem nach einem Spaziergang ist, ist die Stadt aber auch zu Fuß in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. In der direkten Umgebung ist ein Netto, mehrere Bäcker, ein Imbiss und einige Kiosks, etwas weiter weg (ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß) sind Kaufland, DM, Aldi und Lidl.
