You have the opportunity to rent a room (~17sqm) in an apartment that is 83sqm large. The main tenant is an elderly woman who is an artist (painter and sculptor). The room you rent already has a bed, a table (with drawers) combined with a chair, and a small couch for 2 people. The room also has 2 wardrobes that can easily accommodate your clothes. The window overlooks a small, calm courtyard - the apartment is in the back section (hinterhaus) of the building. Thus, even though the apartment is only a few feet from the famous Kurfürstendamm avenue - the apartment is literally a minute's walk from the Cartier and Gucci showrooms - you get a quiet stay away from the noise.
We have a washing machine, refrigerator, and a small winter garden too. If you wish to use internet, it is 28€ a month.
Living with the lady means that you share the kitchen and bathrooms. She is a lively person, and speaks fluent German, English, and Italian, and has a very curious mind. She loves her time with her small garden and is very accommodating of your needs. I have lived with her for the past 11 months and have certainly enjoyed her company. I am moving to another apartment so that my fiance can join me.
If you wish to know more, please do not hesitate to contact me. The duration of your stay will be 3-4 months, and hence there is no need for a big caution deposit. :)

The location of the apartment is very accessible - you have the Olivaer Platz bus stop 5 minutes by walk, and the Savignyplatz S-bahn station 10 minutes by walk (good walk across Ku'damm). It is also a nice walk to Kaiser Wilhelm memorial church, through the shopping avenue. It's a very posh area and has cool restaurants, shops, and hangout places close by.
