2 WG Zimmer in Wohnung in linkem Hausprojekt

Das Haus befindet sich gegenüber des Eisstadions, also in der Innenstadt. Zum Rathausplatz sind es zu Fuß 10min, zur nächsten Tramhaltestelle dauert es unter fünf Minuten. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, wie Lidl, Rewe, basic gibt es natürlich auch in der Nähe.

The house is opposite of the Curt Frenzel stadium, which means it is in the city center. The town hall square is in 10min walking distance and the next metro station can be reached in under 5min. Of course there are also opportunities to buy your groceries close by.

WG-Leben

Die Zwei-Zimmer-Wohnung befindet sich innerhalb eines linksalternativen Hausprojekts (Teil des Mietshäusersyndikats), in dem wir zu zwölft wohnen. Das bedeutet auch, dass das Wohnen mit den anderen Parteien in einem gemeinschaftlichen Rahmen konzipiert ist. Wichtig ist, dass du genug Zeit hast, dich im Projekt einzubringen, u. a. im wöchentlichen Plenum. Wie alt du bist oder was du beruflich machst ist nicht wichtig, allerdings legen wir hohen Wert darauf, dass du dir der Verantwortung und Pflichten, die mit den andererseits großen Freiheiten einhergehen, bewusst bist und Interesse daran hast, an einem selbstverwalteten Gemeinschaftsleben teilzuhaben und auch entsprechende Aufgaben zu übernehmen.
Wir verbringen aber auch viel Freizeit zusammen, z. B. in unserem Innenhof oder unserem gemeinsamen Freiraum im Keller, und verstehen uns gut. Dies macht den Mehraufwand definitiv wett und ist ein ganz besonders toller Punkt an diesem Projekt.

Living together

The apartment is part of a leftist housing project (part of the "Mietshäuser Syndikat"), which has 12 people living in it. Therefore living together means being a community with the other people living here. It is important that you are willing to take part in the project, e.g. attending the weekly plenum. Your age or profession don't matter to us. However it is very important for us that you understand that the freedoms we have are accompanied by responsibilities and duties. Furthermore, you should be interested in living in this self managed project and take on tasks yourself.
Yet, we also spend our spare time together, e.g. in our courtyard or our shared basement, and we get along with each other very well. This makes our work worthwhile and definitely is an amazing part of this project.
