We have a room in the 1st floor. The apartment comprises the EC and 1st OG of a semi-detached house. The free room has an area of 15sqm, with light roof slopes and a wall with wood panelling.
In the EC there is the bathroom with toilet and shower, as well as the kitchen with dishwasher. From the kitchen my room goes as a through-room to the terrace. You also reach the terrace when you walk from the front door around the house.
The large terrace with plenty of seating is one of the highlights of the apartment. Here, cohabitants have always liked to sit together to talk, enjoy a cool drink and watch the beautiful sunset. Due to the fact that the terrace lies to the west side, there is long light and due to the ambience of the garden you also have a wide view. We use the garden together with the renter from the basement apartment among us. There is also a workshop shed in the garden, which we can use freely.
In the basement there is the shared laundry with washing machine. There's also an attic, it's just gonna have to be demolished.
The apartment is rented privately. The owner lives only one street and is easily accessible.
The room is currently empty and therefore spontaneously habitable.
ROOM
There is one room at the second floor available. The flat stretches over the first and second floor of a house. the room is about 15m^2 big and a nice sloping roof and wooden paneling decorates one wall.
On the first floor is our kitchen with a dishwasher as well as a bathroom with a shower and toilet. My room is next to the kitchen and has access to our porch. The porch is accessible from the front door as well. The porch is our favorite place. There is enough space to sit at a big table and gabble a little in the evening. The porch is facing west and gives a fair amount of light all throughout the day.
We are sharing the garden with another tenant and a shed for tools is there as well.
We have a washing machine in the basement and an attic wich needs to be cleared out some time.
The landlord lives just around the corner. The room is at the moment empty and without any furniture.
Bei uns ist ein Zimmer im 1. OG frei. Die Wohnung umfasst das EG und 1. OG einer Doppelhaushälfte. Das freie Zimmer hat eine Fläche von 15qm, mit leichter Dachschräge und einer Wand mit Holzvertäfelung.
Im EG befinden sich das Bad mit WC und Dusche, sowie die Küche mit Spülmaschine. Von der Küche geht mein Zimmer als Durchgangszimmer zur Terrasse ab. Du erreichst die Terrasse aber auch, wenn du von der Haustür aus einmal um das Haus herum gehst.
Die große Terrasse mit viel Sitzgelegenheiten ist eines der Highlights der Wohnung. Hier saßen Mitbewohnis bisher immer gern zusammen um zu quatschen, ein kühles Getränk zu genießen und den schönen Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten. Dadurch, dass die Terrasse zur Westseite liegt, ist dort lange Licht und durch die Abschüssigkeit des Gartens hat man auch einen weiten Blick. Den Garten nutzen wir gemeinsam mit der Mieterin aus der Kellerwohnung unter uns. Im Garten steht auch ein Werkstattschuppen, den wir frei nutzen können.
Im Keller befindet sich dann noch die gemeinschaftlich genutzte Waschküche mit Waschmaschine. Es gibt auch noch einen Dachboden, der müsste nur mal entrümpelt werden.
Die Wohnung wird privat vermietet. Der Eigentümer wohnt nur eine Straße weiter und ist gut erreichbar.
Das Zimmer ist aktuell leer und daher spontan bewohnbar.

The apartment is located west of the train station, only 5min by bike. There are 5 different bus lines in walking distance, all the direction downtown and partly past the university campus. At the station there are more bus lines in almost all corners of the city. To the campus, however, it is only 10min from the apartment by bike. The e-roller offer is now also large in Göttingen and in the neighborhood there are always those.
There are relatively many different shopping facilities near the apartment, in addition to the offer in the city centre. To EDEKA, Alnatura, dm, net, Lidl and Aldi everything is not far, so we are very well covered. We also have two used furniture sales houses in the direct vicinity (Möbelino and Brockensammlung), where exciting things (and not just furniture) can be found.
The Groner Naturfreibad is right around the corner, so you can cool off spontaneously in summer. Opposite the outdoor swimming pool there is a sports facility from GoeSF and Boulder fans will be delighted to see the proximity to the BiG.
The neighborhood here is very quiet, with predominantly one-family houses. The neighbors are very nice and you can keep a chat about the fence. Right next door two big doggies live and among us in the basement apartment two cats.

There are many different options for grocery shopping (EDEKA, Aldi, Lidl, Alnatura, Net, dm), in addition to the offer downtown. Secondhand shops are so around the corner and you can always find some cool stuff there.
There is an outdoor pool in our quarter. If you like to boulder, there is a hall near by.
Our neighborhood is very friendly and people are always open for a talk and chat at the fence. There are two big dogs living next door and two cats with the tenant in our basement.
Die Wohnung liegt westlich vom Bahnhof, nur 5min mit dem Fahrrad entfernt. Es gibt 5 verschiedene Buslinien in Fußnähe, die alle Richtung Innenstadt und teils am Uni-Campus vorbei fahren. Am Bahnhof fahren dann noch mehr Buslinien in fast alle Ecken der Stadt. Zum Campus sind es aber von der Wohnung aus mit dem Fahrrad auch nur 10min. Das E-Roller-Angebot ist in Göttingen inzwischen auch groß und in der Nachbarschaft stehen eigentlich immer welche.
Es gibt relativ viele verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Wohnungsnähe, zusätzlich zu dem Angebot in der Innenstadt. Zu EDEKA, Alnatura, dm, Netto, Lidl und Aldi ist es alles nicht weit, wir sind also sehr gut abgedeckt. Wir haben auch zwei Gebrauchtmöbel-Kaufhäuser im direkten Umkreis (Möbelino und Brockensammlung), wo sich immer spannende Dinge (und nicht nur Möbel) finden lassen.
Das Groner Naturfreibad liegt direkt um die Ecke, sodass man sich im Sommer auch spontan mal abkühlen kann. Gegenüber vom Freibad befindet sich noch eine Sportanlage vom GoeSF und Boulder-Fans werden sich über die Nähe zum BiG freuen.
Die Nachbarschaft hier ist sehr ruhig, mit vorwiegend Einfamilienhäusern. Die Nachbar*innen sind sehr nett und man kann auch mal über den Zaun einen Plausch halten. Direkt nebenan wohnen zwei große Doggen und unter uns in der Kellerwohnung zwei Katzen.

I am Malte, 27 years old and I study history and gender research at the University of Göttingen. At 19 my left leg was amputated. I have a prosthesis, so I can do almost everything independently.
I moved to this WG at the beginning of April 22 and currently live in one of the rooms in the EC.
In my spare time I play chess, go to parties, chill with friends in the city or cock at the computer. .
Cem also lives here: I study comparative studies and work in a used furniture store. Gucke and play basketball. Music plays a big role in my life, and I love rock, jazz and blues. I also learn Spanish passionately. In nice weather I like to go jogging. Would be cool to do this together. Is, of course, not a must!
The WG life has so far been cozy and friendly. And quiet, it's very important to us that it stays that way.
Pets are unfortunately undesirable. No smoking either.
In principle, each person is welcome here, but discriminatory behaviour is not tolerated.
Ich bin Malte, 27 Jahre alt und studiere Geschichte und Geschlechterforschung an der Uni Göttingen. Mit 19 wurde mein linkes Bein amputiert. Ich habe eine Prothese, kann also eigenständig fast alles machen.
Ich bin Anfang April 22 in diese WG gezogen und wohne momentan noch in einem der Zimmer im EG.
In meiner Freizeit spiele ich Schach, gehe auf Partys, chille mit Freund*innen in der Stadt oder zocke am Rechner. .
Ebenfalls wohnt Cem hier: Ich studiere Komparatistik und arbeite nebenbei in einem Gebrauchtmöbel-Laden. Gucke und spiele sehr gerne Basketball. Musik spielt ne große Rolle in meinem Leben, und ich liebe rock, jazz und blues. Außerdem lerne ich leidenschaftlich Spanisch. Bei schönem Wetter gehe ich gerne joggen. Wäre cool das zusammen zu machen. Ist aber natürlich kein Muss! :)
Das WG-Leben war bisher gemütlich und freundschaftlich. Und ruhig. Uns ist es sehr wichtig, dass es so bleibt.
Haustiere sind leider unerwünscht. Rauchen ebenfalls nicht.
Grundsätzlich ist hier jede Person willkommen, aber diskriminierendes Verhalten wird nicht toleriert.
