Das Haus liegt im Herzen von Vaals. Supermarkt und andere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind um die Ecke. Die Bushaltestelle für die Anbindung nach Aachen oder Maastricht 2 Minuten entfernt. Das Klinikum und das Dreiländereck ist nicht weit. Vaals als "kleine Schwester" von Aachen ist ein kulturoffenes kleines Städtchen.
Die Ummeldung in die Niederlanden ist nicht schwierig. Bei der Gemeinde Vaals gibt es ausreichend und nette Beratung hierzu.
