Das Zimmer ist mit etwa 10 m2 recht klein, durch Einbauschränke und Stauraum unterm Bett aber sehr platzsparend. Es ist ist mit allem eingerichtet, was man braucht, Küche und Bad sind ebenfalls voll ausgestattet. Die gemeinschaftlich genutzten Bereiche der Wohnung (Küche, Flur, Bad) werden zweiwöchentlich von einer Putzkraft gereinigt. Die Kosten dafür sind in der Warmmiete von 550 bereits enthalten. Vor dem Zimmer ist ein Flur, den wir quasi als Wohnzimmer inklusive Fernseher nutzen. Im Keller lässt sich auch problemlos ein Fahrrad abstellen.

The room is quite small with about 10 m2, but due to built-in wardrobes and storage space under the bed it is very space-saving. It is furnished with everything you need, kitchen and bathroom are also fully equipped. The common areas of the apartment (kitchen, hallway, bathroom) are taken care of every two weeks by a cleaner. The costs for this are already included in the warm rent of 550. In front of the room is a hallway, which we use as a living room including TV. In the basement you can also easily store a bike.

Genau zwischen Karl-Marx Straße und Hermannstraße gelegen sind zahlreiche Bars, Restaurants und Kinos in direkter Umgebung und per U7 und U8 sind wir zudem gut angebunden. Bis zum Tempelhofer Feld sind es nur 10 Minuten Fußweg und der beliebte Schillerkiez mit vielen tollen Kneipen ist auch gleich um die Ecke.

Situated exactly between Karl-Marx Straße and Hermannstraße, numerous bars, restaurants and cinemas are in direct reach and we are also well connected by U7 and U8. Tempelhofer Feld is only a 10 minute walk away and the popular Schillerkiez with many great pubs is also just around the corner.

Yair ist 23, studiert Film und kommt aus Israel. Er arbeitet Teilzeit in einem nahegelegenen Hostel, lernt noch deutsch und spricht schon sehr fließend. Außerdem kocht er wahnsinnig guten Hummus und Falafeln. Rafa ist 32, kommt aus Brasilien und hat zuvor lange in Barcelona gewohnt. Er ist Grafik Design Student und arbeitet derzeit bei Soundcloud.
Natürlich läuft man sich mehrmals am Tag in der Wohnung über den Weg und wir haben alle ein sehr gutes Verhältnis zueinander. Manchmal wird auch zusammen gekocht oder gegessen. Hin und wieder sind wir in der Vergangenheit auch gerne mal ein Bier trinken gegangen, vor allem im Schillerkiez, wo ein sehr aktives Abend- und Nachtleben herrscht.
Die meiste Zeit unterhalten wir uns übrigens auf englisch. Der / Die Nachmieterin sollte dementsprechend ein wenig Englisch sprechen und im besten Fall aufgeschlossen sein ab und zu mal was zu unternehmen.
