Searching for a flat with some fun, lefty, openminded people in the south/east of Berlin

Ich heiße Daniel(he/him) bin 26 Jahre alt und von Beruf Koch (fraglich wie lange ich das aber tatsächlich noch mache, Gastro ist die Hölle..).
Ich habe zwischen 2018 und 2021 für meine Kochausbildung in Berlin gewohnt. Danach war ich viel unterwegs, zweimal in Griechenland um dort für NGOs zu arbeiten, mal in einem schweizer Skihotel um Geld zu sparen und jetzt gerade komme ich von 5 Monaten Australien zurück, wo ich komplett klischeehaft work&travel gemacht habe (mit der Ausnahme, dass ich als Ziel hatte mir ein bisschen Wissen über Permakultur und die indigene Bevölkerung anzueignen).

Jetzt bin ich wieder in Deutschland und habe auch erstmal vor hier zu bleiben und dafür würde ich gerne wieder nach Berlin ziehen, weil alle anderen deutschen Städte dann doch irgendwie langweilig sind.
Ein bisschen was zu mir als Person, ich bin ein ziemlich politischer Mensch, engagiere mich antifaschistisch und aktivistisch für Geflüchtete, für die LGBTQIA+ community oder auch mal für Umweltthemen.
Außerdem bin ich jemand der gerne und viel kreativ wird. Ich liebe DIY Projekte von Töpfern über Kochen, Herstellung von Seife, Schmuck, alkoholischen Getränken, ich male, fotografiere, mache kleine Holzarbeiten, will jetzt lernen zu sprayen und und und.. Außerdem liebe ich die Natur, gärtnere unglaublich gerne, sammle Pilze, Kräuter und Wildgemüse und ich werde alles daran setzen, dass die Wohnung oder zumindest mein Zimmer so grün wie nur möglich wird. Ich gehe außerdem ganz gerne zu Techno feiern, zu Partys wie Symbiotikka und möchte kommendes Jahr unbedingt zu diversen Festivals fahren (Fusion, Zurück zu den Wurzeln, SonneMondSterne, .. gerne noch weitere Empfehlungen dalassen).

Bezüglich Zusammenwohnen habe ich in der Vergangenheit diverse Erfahrungen gesammelt. Ich habe zB in Griechenland in einer 10er WG mit anderen Volunteers gelebt, dort haben wir zusammen gearbeitet, zusammen gewohnt und in unserer Freizeit waren wir praktisch auch permanent zusammen unterwegs. Das hat mir unglaublich gut gefallen, ich bin zwar grundsätzlich ein Mensch der auch gerne Mal alleine ist, das hat mir dort aber einfach gar nicht gefehlt weil wir uns alle so gut verstanden haben.
Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen in einer Zweck-WG zu wohnen, ich möchte Menschen um mich herum mit denen ein wirkliches Miteinander stattfindet.
Mir sind Kommunikation und ein offener, respektvoller Umgang enorm wichtig. Ich kann es nicht ausstehen wenn Probleme nicht angesprochen werden und sich dann so eine passiv-aggressive Stimmung entwickelt.

Bezüglich Sauberkeit/Putzen, ich bin kein Ordnungsfanatiker, aber gerade Sauberkeit in Küche und Bad sind mir sehr wichtig. Am liebsten wäre mir soetwas wie ein Putzplan.

Was ich ansonsten beim Wohnen noch gerne habe ist, dass ich es liebe wenn ich einen Ort heimisch machen kann. Mit Pflanzen, mit Deko, Büchern, schönen Lampen und einem Platz für all mein Küchenequipment. Ich koche nicht nur gerne, ich plane meine Tage ums Essen herum. Ich habe eine Eis- und Joghurtmaschine, eine Räucherpistole, eine Tortillapresse und unzählige andere kleiner nützlicher Dinge mit denen ich gerne in der Küche herumexperimentiere. Außerdem habe ich in Berlin noch einige Freund:innen aus der Kochschule mit denen ich in der Vergangenheit gerne Kochabende gemacht habe. Ich backe Brot, mache Kimchi, Kombucha, meine eigenen Sirups und Liköre, Met, Cider, Teemischungen, und und und. Wenn man mit mir zusammenwohnt, ist Experimentierfreudigkeit beim Essen also von Vorteil 😄

Ich wohne derzeit nicht in Berlin, werde aber öfter Mal da sein um Freunde zu besuchen und kann ansonsten auch relativ spontan in die Stadt kommen, es dürften sich also genug Gelegenheiten für ein Kennenlernen bieten :)

Hey folks,
my name is Daniel (he/him), I'm 26yo and a trained chef (gastro sucks tho, so not sure for how long I will keep on doing that).
I lived in Berlin from 2018 til 2021 for my apprenticeship to become a chef. After that, I traveled quite a lot. I went to Greece twice for a couple of months to work with NGOs, I worked in a ski hotel in Switzerland and now I just came back from 5 months of work&travel in Australia, I know, very cliché..

Now that I'm back in Germany I want to move back to Berlin.
About myself, I'm a pretty politically active person. I'm an antifascist, I support NGO work with refugees, the LGBTQIA+ community, environmental ideas and groups, ...
I'm also a person who wants and needs creative outlets. I love DIY projects, pottery, cooking, I make my own soap, jewelry, beverages, I paint, do photography, small woodworking projects, I want to learn how to do graffiti and so on..
Besides that I'm really into nature, I love gardening, foraging, and I will probably turn the flat or at least my room into a little jungle :p
I also enjoy going to raves and partys like Symbiotikka and next year I plan on really diving into the festival summer.

About the life in a shared flat, I made a lot of different and beautiful experiences in the past regarding living with other people. In Greece I lived in a flat with 10 other volunteers, we lived, worked and spent all our free time together. I'm usually a person who also enjoys to have some lone time, but I didn't miss that there at all because we all got along so well, we shared the same values and I felt inspired by the people around me. Thats kind of what I'm looking for, I don't want to live with people that I'm not friends with, I want to not only share the same flat, but really live together.
Therefore open, respectful communication is very important to me. When problems occur they need to get discussed and solved, not swallowed down until a passive-aggressive vibe takes over.

About tidiness/cleaning, I'm not a germaphobe or anything, but especially a clean kitchen and bathroom are important to me. Preferably there would be a cleaning schedule or something like that.

Something else thats important to me about a home is that I really enjoy MAKING a place home. I love decorating, I love to fill my room with plants, books, beautiful lamps and I need a place to put all my kitchen eq. I not only enjoy cooking, I plan my days around food. I own an ice cream and yogurt machine, a smoking gun, a tortilla press and many other small gadgets that I use to experiment with in the kitchen. I also still have a couple of friends from culinary school in Berlin with whom I used to do fun dinner dates. I bake my own bread, I make kimchi, kombucha, my own syrups, liqueurs, mead, cider, herbal tea mixtures and so on.
Someone who is living with me should be a bit adventurous when it comes to culinary experiences 😄

I currently don't live in Berlin, but I will be around to visit friends every now and then, and I can also travel there quite spontaneously. So a meet-up should be no problem, if you are interested in that :)
