The free room is about 19m² in size, has a parquet floor that was renewed 5 years ago, a small sloping ceiling and double-glazed windows that clearly muffle the bells of the Kreuzkirche outside. The room offers a central view of the church and Kaiserplatz.
The room will be furnished as the current tenant will be moving to Cologne, but you can dispose of the furniture and set up your own if you wish. In the room there is a door to the neighboring room, which is tightly closed and soundproofed with the help of chipboard and insulation material.
The apartment has a beautiful kitchen and living room (including washing machine and dishwasher), a large bathroom (including bathtub and natural light), a large living room as well as a hallway and 2 cupboards for storage. There is also a cellar compartment and a bicycle cellar.
The apartment is on the 4th floor of an old building.
The shared apartment is located in one of the most central locations in Bonn (Kaiserplatz/Kreuzkirche/Hofgarten). In 5 minutes you can be in the city center and have everything you need within walking distance (supermarkets, dm, pharmacy, bakery, bars...).
The bus and main train station are practically on the doorstep, the main university buildings and the Rhine are within walking distance and in summer the Hofgarten on the opposite side of the street invites you to linger. There are also several cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood.
Karen (32, master's student) and Annika (24, master's student) live in the shared apartment. The shared language is usually English, but not a must. I'm (Paulie, 25) moving out after 1+ year of living here.
Karen and Annika are looking forward to having friendly, considerate and tidy roommates who are happy to chat occasionally. We are looking for someone who is self-sufficient, respectful of shared spaces, LGBTQ+ friendly and with shared living experience; Cleanliness is very important to us. Although we share the same home, we don't expect to force friendships between the roommates, and let them evolve naturally instead. We think it's important to acknowledge that everyone needs their own time, time to withdraw and have their own lives :D
We share most household things (ie. cleaning products, spices) in the WG. We use Splitwise to divide the costs between ourselves.
We prefer to accept tenants with a stay of at least one year. The landlord requires a SCHUFA (request now) from us (or for students a guarantee with Schufa (request now) information from the guarantor).
If you are interested, please make sure that you will stay for at least a year and can provide proof of a SCHUFA (request now) or SCHUFA (request now) from a guarantor :D
The stated rent of €440/month includes all additional costs (gas, electricity, operating costs, internet, broadcasting fee). I will also ask for an additional €100 for the fridge, since we recently got a new one.
Then write a message with a few sentences about yourself and possible questions. We will contact you when we can arrange an appointment for a visit! We try our best to get in touch with everyone, but it is often very difficult.
We are looking forward to meet you!
