Hello! we have a room free from October 2023 onwards for at least 2 months in our beautiful home.
Who are we? We are 7 people, living at Dresden Pieschen in direct sight of the Elbe. Several of us are queer and using a mixture of pronouns so queers are welcome and you must be queer friendly!! Some of us study, some of us work, others have a good time without both. Some of us dive really deep into music and arts, others sew there own clothings with a lot of love. With the next one you can talk a whole morning about bike parts and rafting, while you may find one in the early morning hours watering the flowers in the garden. We share values of queer feminist, leftist and anarchist thought. All in all we accompany eachother lot of time by co-working or hanging around in the flat, which will increase in Winter. We like to cook together and invite friends for a movie night or barbecue. Currently we are not a "party-wg". The flat is pretty big, so even if somebody decides to turn up the volume a little, practices keyboard or the drums, it's not getting too loud. There are community spaces like a big living room and a rooftop garden- you might feel like you’re on holiday here :)
The room is about 20 m² and costs 370 Euros. It's very bright, has a nice view and some furniture. The flat is on the 3rd floor, which you can reach with an elevator, but the room is only reachable over a couple of stairs. There is a bathroom near it.
We organize the life collectivley, through sharing food and cleaning duties. We try to find our living in consent with each other and not only live only along each other. This also means that we consider our private lifes as political and try to learn from each other how structures of power and hierarchies affect this "private life" and how we can resist or change it. While this maybe sounds a little utopian, nobody‘s perfect and we also disagree e.g. about the cleaning plan or different points of view. We try our best to address and resolve conflicts and disagreements openly and constructively, which strongly excludes being offensive or rude. It would be great if this resonates with you and is something you are interested or even already practiced in!
Please write us a little introduction to your self! English would be really nice. But german works fine as well.
