1-room apartment in central WG 1-Zimmer Wohnung in zentraler WG

The WG is located in the best location in the Zollhausviertel, with all major shops and bus stops nearby. net, customs house and Stubenloherstr. in 1 minute distance, Aldi about 5. The PhilFak is also right around the corner, so you can sleep very long in the morning. The Mensa is no 5 minutes away.
The main railway station can be reached in 10-15 minutes on foot, depending on the walking speed, and at the Bohlenplatz you are in about 3 minutes.
The windows go out to a side street, which is why it is very quiet at night when the window is open.

Die WG befindet sich in bester Lage mitten im Zollhausviertel, mit allen wichtigen Geschäften und Bushaltestellen in direkter Nähe. Netto, Zollhaus und Stubenloherstr. in 1 Minute Entfernung, Aldi etwa 5. Die PhilFak ist auch direkt ums Eck, sodass man morgens sehr lange ausschlafen kann. Die Mensa ist auch keine 5 Minuten erntfernt.
Der Hauptbahnhof ist je nach Gehgeschwindigkeit in 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen und am Bohlenplatz ist man in ca 3 Minuten.
Die Fenster gehen raus zu einer Seitenstraße, weshalb es Nachts auch bei geöffnetem Fenster sehr leise ist.

Since I have to take a heavy heart out, Simon (28) and Freddy (20) are looking for a new home. Simon studies his second Bachelor in Business Informatics and Freddy works at Steinbach (it is always good beer in the house) and is still looking for his appointment. Since Simon's girlfriend soon has to move away because of her ref, Simon will often be with her and less in the WG. Whether he keeps the room is still in the stars. From time to time we go together to eat, celebrate in bars or even times, and Freddy can always be visited in Steinbach and enjoy certain advantages.

Because each room has its own kitchen and we do not have a proper communal space besides the large communal balcony, the WG life is very relaxed. You don't have to see if you don't want, but you can leave your room door open and just go to the others. The only small manko (why the room is so unbeatable) is that the bathroom that Freddy and you would share is located on the hallway. But it never really disturbed me and you get used to it very quickly.

The house has a large community balcony that suits many people. One of the seating areas is covered, which is why the WM could be looked outside even with heavy rain. The old landlord even donated a Weber Grill during his lifetime, which is regularly used in summer. His two daughters, the current landlords, are extremely sweet and once a year also donate a small balcony party with beer and pizza and an Advent calendar for Christmas. In the whole house only students should live because they want to offer affordable living space. That's why all people in the house are pretty well connected and you know everyone. Along with a neighbor, I have always had many flowers and plants on the balcony in summer and the house community is happy when someone wants to keep the balcony beautifully green.

Da ich schweren Herzens ausziehen muss, suchen Simon (28) und Freddy (20) eine*n lieben neuen Mitbewohni. Simon studiert seinen zweiten Bachelor in Wirtschaftsinformatik und Freddy arbeitet bei Steinbach (es ist immer gutes Bier im Haus) und sucht noch nach seiner Berufung. Da Simon's Freundin wegen ihres Refs bald weiter wegziehen muss, wird Simon häufig bei ihr sein und weniger in der WG. Ob er das Zimmer behält steht noch in den Sternen. Ab und an gehen wir zusammen essen, in Bars oder auch mal feiern und Freddy kann man immer im Steinbach besuchen gehen und gewisse Vorteile genießen.

Weil jedes Zimmer seine eigene Küche hat und wir außer dem großen Gemeinschaftsbalkon keinen richtigen Gemeinschaftraum haben, ist das WG Leben sehr entspannt. Man muss keinen sehen, wenn man nicht will, aber man kann auch seine Zimmertür offen lassen und einfach zu den anderen gehen. Einziges kleines Manko (weshalb das Zimmer aber auch so unschlagbar günstig ist) ist, dass sich das Bad, das sich Freddy und du teilen würden, auf dem Hausflur befindet. Mich hat das aber nie sonderlich gestört und man gewöhnt sich sehr schnell daran.

Das Haus hat einen großen Gemeinschaftsbalkon auf den sehr viele Menschen passen. Einer der Sitzbereiche ist überdacht, weshalb auch schon bei Starkregen draußen die WM geschaut werden konnte. Der alte Vermieter hat zu seinen Lebzeiten sogar einen Weber Grill spendiert, der im Sommer regelmäßig benutzt wird. Seine zwei Töchter, die jetzigen Vermieterinnen, sind extrem lieb und spendieren einmal im Jahr auch eine kleine Balkonparty mit Bier und Pizza und zu Weihnachten einen Adventskalender. Im ganzen Haus sollen nur Student*innen wohnen, da sie bezahlbaren Wohnraum bieten wollen. Deswegen sind auch alle Leute im Haus recht gut connected und man kennt eigentlich jeden. Zusammen mit einer Nachbarin habe ich im Sommer auch immer viele Blumen und Pflanzen am Balkon gehabt und die Hausgemeinschaft freut sich, wenn da jemand Lust drauf hat, den Balkon schön grün zu halten.

The only condition is actually only nice to be enrolled at the university and to be able to pay the cheap rent. Even if this becomes difficult, you can talk to the landlords and a solution is found.

There is no washing machine in the apartment itself, but one in the basement.
There is also a small courtyard under the balcony where bicycles can be covered.

Die einzige Bedigungung ist eigentlich nur lieb zu sein, an der Uni eingeschrieben zu sein und die günstige Miete bezahlen zu können. Selbst wenn das mal schwierig wird, kann man mit den Vermieterinnen reden und es wird eine Lösung gefunden.

In der Wohnung selbst gibt es keine Waschmachine, dafür aber eine im Keller.
Außerdem gibt es unter dem Balkon einen kleinen Innenhof, wo Fahrräder überdacht abgestellt werden können.
