The room is the largest bedroom of the flat. With 32 square meters and a large window facade facing east towards the sunrise behind the dome and the ECB in the background, it is brighter&warmer in the morning and cooler during the day than the rest of the flat.
It is closely located to the entrance, the kitchen, one of three bathrooms and does not any adjacent bedroom, which makes it conveniently located and quiet.
It has a stylish yet comfortable atmosphere.
I have enjoyed five wonderful years in it and am moving out purely to move together with my girlfriend.
Happy to discuss for my successor to take over the furniture for keeping the atmosphere and the comfort of faster settling in.
The flat is located at the Dome (hence the name ;-) ) next to the Altstadt.
The U4 is 3 minutes away enabling us to get to the main station in ~10 mins. Similar distance to the Main river for walks and enjoying the sunset.
Groceries can be bought at the famous “Kleinmarkthalle” (~5 mins walking distance), Aldi (~7 mins) and the “Zeil” (~9 mins) with all its shopping offerings.
Restaurants and Cafés are all around. For breakfast I can particularly recommend MehlWasserSalz, a famous sourdough bakery in the MMK building around the corner.
In summertime you can even attend open air cinema screenings next to the Schirn (2 mins).
The flat is a so called “Stil-Altbau” on the third and fourth floor with high ceilings, lots of light and very large common rooms which makes it ideal for a shared flat. Amenities are carefully curated by the inhabitants to give a lively atmosphere with highlights like a professional espresso machine, a karaoke set, a table socker and a huge dining table to host not only dinners but also board- and social games.
We are particularly proud of our parties e.g. for Halloween. Smaller get together like joint dinners or an espresso or glass of wine in the kitchen happen on a regular basis.
We have organized weekly professional cleaning of the common areas to free up time for social life and to have a good cleanliness standard. You can also request for your room to be cleaned in addition.
