Hi all,
I am moving in with my boyfriend so I have to let go of my current room. I love the location and also the rent for my flat.
The room is 15 square meters, with a wooden-look floor, bright and sunny, and the location is amazing with the city center nearby, a bunch of supermarkets, and also near the beautiful river, it also near Sachenhausen so my flatmates and I sometimes just spontaneously go out for a drink and it was very cool.
But you should also be aware that it is on the 5th floor so it means that you should be ready to do a bit of walking every time you go out.
Your housemates will be 2 other Germans, they are polite and cool, you can also have drinks together if you are up to it, but if you need privacy, it's all up to you. The house is calm and quiet mostly.
For equipment and furniture: You will have a shared kitchen and bathroom with all the necessary. My room is furnished with a closet, a table & chair for study or work, lamp. You will also have a bed (without a mattress, it's better you bring your own), a few shelves and some other small stuff.
The warm rent is 416€ which includes all the utility costs, except radio fees which we pay every 6 months.
For you to be informed, all deposit and existing equipment fees will go to me because the contract will transfer from my name to yours and, the new tenant will always pay toward the current one.
I stayed here for 2 years so far, it was a cool time, and I am always happy to be home. I hope you will feel the same as well.
