Double room in cozy 3rd-WG near Veterinary Campus Doppelzimmer in gemütlicher 3er-WG nahe Veterinärcampus

The bus stop Schubertstraße is right in front of the front door, better connected is not: The bus line 10 takes you directly to the Philosophy, to the NaWi campus and also to the railway station. With the 11 you also come to the Gießen station, which is also within walking distance in 15-20min. Line 1 moves towards center.

Although the apartment is not in the absolute city center, everything is relatively close. You can find everything here at 10-15min: bakers, diners, restaurants, bars, Edeka+ beverage market, gas stations, a mailbox with late emptying. I also often used the DHL parcel station at Tegut, which is located on the right from the upper end of the Schubertstraße. In the backyard of the residential house there are car and bicycle parking spaces, the former against monthly barrier wrench fee (please ask the landlord!).

From here you get to the city, to the university, to the Seltersberg and to the railway station, but also the mountain forest for walking and jogging is not far. Easy to use!

Die Bushaltestelle Schubertstraße liegt genau vor der Haustüre, besser angebunden geht nicht: Die Buslinie 10 bringt dich direkt zum Philosophikum, auf den NaWi-Campus und auch zum Bahnhof. Mit der 11 kommst du ebenfalls zum Gießener Bahnhof, welcher aber auch fußläufig in 15-20min erreichbar ist. Die Linie 1 fährt Richtung Zentrum.

Obwohl die Wohnung nicht in der absoluten Stadtmitte liegt, ist alles relativ nahe. Du findest hier bereits in 10-15min Laufnähe alles: Bäcker, Döner, Restaurants, Bars, Edeka+Getränkemarkt, Tankstellen, einen Postkasten mit Spätleerung. Oft genutzt habe ich außerdem die DHL Paketstation am Tegut, welcher rechts vom oberen Ende der Schubertstraße gelegen ist. Im Hinterhof des Wohnhauses sind Auto- und Fahrradstellplätze vorhanden, erstere gegen monatliche Schrankenschlüssel-Gebühr (bitte beim Vermieter erfragen!).

Man kommt von hier ruckzuck in die Stadt, zur Uni, auf den Seltersberg und zum Bahnhof, aber auch der Bergwerkswald zum Spazierengehen und Joggen ist nicht weit. Einfach praktisch!

Your roommates are Marc (electrotech student at THM) and Moritz (medicine student at JLU). The guys are always sporty and diligent, as well as happy to have a conversation in the WG kitchen and for common food.

There have always been joint actions in the past:

+ Canoeing and Bicycle Tours
+ Dönern
+ Sushi in the WG

You see, there's a lot to do, but you'll get as much as it's pleasant for you!

We're pretty relaxed. As always, everything can be, nothing has to.

Since we all have different daily routines, we understand it, of course, if it doesn't work so often with joint activities or you have to retreat, as for example the next exam is up, but we are all the more happy if you can talk a bit in the kitchen, the center of the WG once at breakfast, lunch or dinner and just feel a bit like at home.

There is, of course, a certain basic order and cleanliness, which is maintained by everyone equally. We also have a cleaning plan.

Deine Mitbewohner sind Marc (Elektrotechnik-Student an der THM) und Moritz (Medizin-Student an der JLU). Die Jungs sind stets sportlich-aktiv und fleißig unterwegs, sowie gerne für ein Gespräch in der WG-Küche und fürs gemeinsame Essen zu haben.

Es gab in der Vergangenheit immer wieder gemeinsame Aktionen:
+ Kochabende
+Spieleabende
+ Kanu- und Fahrradtouren
+ Dönern
+ Sushi in der WG

Du siehst, es geht einiges, aber du wirst dich so viel einbringen können wie es für dich angenehm ist!

Wir sind da ziemlich entspannt. Wie immer gilt alles kann, nichts muss.

Da wir alle unterschiedliche Tagesabläufe haben verstehen wir es natürlich, wenn es nicht so oft mit gemeinsamen Aktivitäten klappt oder man sich zurückziehen muss, da z.B. die nächste Klausur ansteht, freuen uns aber umso mehr, wenn man dann einfach in der Küche, dem Mittelpunkt der WG mal beim Frühstück, Mittag oder Abendessen ein bisschen quatschen kann und sich einfach ein bisschen wie zu Hause fühlt.

Es gibt natürlich eine gewisse Grundordnung und -sauberkeit, die von allen gleichermaßen aufrecht erhalten wird. Dazu haben wir auch einen Putzplan.
