As I am going for an exchange semester, my room is available for interim let between August 2023 and February 2024 (I'm a little flexible on the dates). The room is quite big and fully furnished including pretty much everything you see on the pictures: A 1,40m box spring bed, a big desk, a really comfortable sleeping couch, two chairs, a carpet, a big wardrobe, a bedside locker, two more cupboards a big Samsung TV and a good stereo with Bluetooth connection.
The highlight of the flat is definitely the big living room where we eat and come together for funny evenings! There is even a beamer we sometimes use to watch a movie :)
Also, I love the little kitchen balcony! It's super nice to sit outside, eat, drink, and enjoy the sun, the view and even the sundown from there!
Finally, please notice the very fancy coffee machine in the kitchen that will be ready for your service anytime ;)
The flat is located in a quiet area amidst the student quarter.
The distances are as follows:
- 3 min biking/7 minutes walking to the University of Graz and the University of Arts,
- 5 min biking/10 min walking to the Medical University
- 7 minutes biking/15 minutes walking to the Technical University.
- 4 minutes towards tram line 1
- 5 minutes towards tram line 7
Both connect you to the city center and the main station!
- Two supermarkets (both are "Spar") within 7 minutes walking.
Also, the party area in the student quarter is close as well as the Leech forest whicht is great to go for walks/runs :)
Your flatmates are going to be Martin (23) and Valeria (23). Martin is a very warm and open person. He loves to cook, bake bread and take care of his planties. He's very social and supportive, the perfect person to cook and enjoy dinner together. Valeria is very laid back, always relaxed and in a good mood. She is like a constant reminder that life can be beautiful if you don't take it too seriously (even though she studies medicine; this remains a mystery to me). During the week we are usually relatively busy but we manage to cook and or eat together twice a week and of course on the weekends. There is a cleaning plan which we follow generally but during stressful times we have not been very strict about it.
The rent is 437€ per month altogether, including internet, heating, electricity and the public media fee. At the moment we do not expect a rise for the relevant period. The security deposit is usually 1000€, but as I know this is a lot of money for many people I plan to leave my deposit in the landlord's account and only ask you for a 500€ deposit. I hope you appreciate this offer and take care of my stuff <3
In case you would like to extend your stay here you can just move to Valerias' room in the semester after that as she is going on exchange as well!
