The residence is located in Gievenbeck, something outside the city centre, but that's not as bad as you think. The local transport connection is really very good (lines 5, 11, 12 and 22) and also REWE, beverage market, pharmacy, pizza and much more are available directly on the other side of the road. Other shops (LIDL, ALDI) are about 5 to 10 minutes by bike and bus.

You can park your bike in the courtyard under the open sky, in the free bicycle cellar and in paid bike boxes (10€/month).

Free parking facilities around the dormitory are in principle good, but it is also possible to rent a parking space at the Studierendenwerk for 60 €/semester.

Das Wohnheim liegt in Gievenbeck, also etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums, aber das ist nicht so schlimm wie man meint. Die Nahverkehrsanbindung ist wirklich sehr gut (Linien 5, 11, 12 und 22) und auch REWE, Getränkemarkt, Apotheke, Pizza und viel mehr gibt es direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite. Andere Läden (LIDL, ALDI) sind sowohl mit Rad als auch Bus etwa 5 bis 10 Minuten entfernt.

Dein Fahrrad kannst du im Innenhof unter freiem Himmel, im kostenfreien Fahrradkeller und in kostenpflichtige Fahrradboxen (10€/Monat) abstellen.

Kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten um das Wohnheim herum sind prinzipiell gut, es ist aber auch möglich für 60 €/Semester einen Parkplatz beim Studierendenwerk zu mieten.

Hi, I'm Carl and live in the WG since last fall. I studied Business Informatics at the University of Münster in the second semester, but I already studied two semesters at the FH Dortmund. Since Dortmund is Dortmund, I just had to leave after two semesters and landed in Münster. Here I like to meet with friends (but usually not with us, far away), make computer stuff or zocke occasionally (Zelda, Factorio ...). Everything rather quiet ^

Our WG life has been quiet so far and I would also like to maintain that. A pure purpose WG should not be, however, you should be able to understand yourself well and live relaxed with each other. I'd like to celebrate, and we can do this together if you have Bock, but with us I think it's good if you can just come home and chill. Some friends and that's not a problem.

Now a few words from your pre-rente:

I've always liked it very well in the WG and I don't have to pull it out due to studies, I wouldn't want it either.
Living together in the WG was always very relaxed and harmonious. If you wanted to talk, this was often an opportunity. You could, of course, also retreat.
I particularly liked the life in the dormitory that through the studikneipe and various events you could get to know new people and build friendships. By contacting the other students, I find it easy to find connection. Of course this is all on a voluntary basis :)

In itself, one can say that one cannot do much wrong with the WG.

Hi, ich bin Carl und wohne seit letztem Herbst in der WG. Ich studiere Wirtschaftsinformatik an der Uni Münster im zweiten Semester, hab vorher aber schon zwei Semester an der FH Dortmund studiert. Da Dortmund Dortmund ist, musste ich da einfach nach zwei Semestern weg und bin in Münster gelandet. Hier treffe ich mich gerne mit Freunden (aber meist nicht bei uns, da weit weg), mache Computerkram oder zocke ab und zu (Zelda, Factorio ...). Alles eher ruhig ^^

Unser WG-Leben war bisher ruhig und das würde ich auch gerne beibehalten. Eine reine Zweck-WG soll es aber auch nicht sein, man sollte sich schon gut verstehen und entspannt miteinander wohnen können. Ich geh auch mal gerne feiern und das können wir auch zusammen machen, wenn du Bock hast, aber bei uns find ich das ganz gut, wenn man einfach nachhause kommen und chillen kann. Irgendwelche Freunde und so sind natürlich gar kein Problem.

Jetzt noch ein paar Worte von deiner Vormieterin:

Mir hat es in der WG immer sehr gut gefallen und müsste ich nicht studienbedingt ausziehen, würde ich es auch nicht wollen :)
Das Zusammenleben in der WG war immer sehr entspannt und harmonisch. Wenn man mal quatschen wollte bot sich hierfür oft die Gelegenheit. Man konnte sich aber natürlich auch zurückziehen.
An dem Leben im Wohnheim hat mir besonders gefallen, dass man durch die Studikneipe und diversen Veranstaltungen immer wieder neue Leute kennenlernen und Freundschaften aufbauen konnte. Durch den Kontakt zu den anderen Studierenden ist es mir leicht gefallen Anschluss zu finden. Natürlich ist das alles auf freiwilliger Basis :)

An sich kann man sagen, dass man mit der WG nicht viel falsch machen kann.

Du MUSST an einer dieser Hochschulen eine Immatrikulation haben, um hier wohnen zu dürfen. Ansonsten gibt das Studierendenwerk dir keinen Mietvertrag:
