The residence is located in the French Quarter, which is bordered by a lot of nature. Walking in approx. All shops can be reached in 10-15 minutes (including Lidl, Edeka, dm, ...). Directly in front of the entrance door is a bus stop from which half-hour buses depart. An alternative bus stop for further connections is only about 5 minutes away. Up to the university (Wilhelmstraße) and to the city centre you drive from here about 20 minutes. There are some events in the French Quarter (for example in the Werkstadthaus), a student bar in one of the residential buildings and an Indian restaurant next to the residence and a Vietnamese restaurant, a bakery and other small shops approx. 5 minutes from the residence.

Right in front of the dorm’s door, there is a bus stop, where busses depart every 30 minutes. Another bus stop for other bus routes is only 5 minutes away. By bus, it takes about 20 minutes to get to the university (Wilhelmstraße) or the city centre. There are lots of events happening in the French Quarter (for example at the Werkstadthaus), there is a student bar in one of the dorm buildings and an Indian restaurant right next to the dorm and a vietnamese restaurant, a baking shop and several other smaller shops about 5 minutes from the dorm.

Das Wohnheim befindet sich im Französischen Viertel, was an sehr viel Natur angrenzt. Fußläufig in ca. 10-15 Minuten sind sämtliche Einkaufsläden zu erreichen (darunter Lidl, Edeka, dm, …). Direkt vor der Eingangstür ist eine Bushaltestelle, von der halbstündlich Busse abfahren. Eine alternative Bushaltestelle für weitere Verbindungen ist nur etwa 5 Minuten entfernt. Bis zur Uni (Wilhelmstraße) und in die Innenstadt fährt man von hier aus etwa 20 Minuten. Es gibt einige Veranstaltungen im Französischen Viertel (beispielsweise im Werkstadthaus), eine Studierendenbar in einem der Wohnheimsgebäude und ein indisches Restaurant neben dem Wohnheim und ein vietnamesisches Restaurant, einen Bäcker und andere kleine Geschäfte ca. 5 Minuten vom Wohnheim entfernt.

In this residential WG is space for a total of 6 people. At the moment two men and three women live here; I'll take off in June. This is more a purpose WG, because we are rather seldom doing something together. But we have a cleaning plan. There is a large hallway with two sofas, a large kitchen with a dining table and large windows, and a two-part bathroom also with windows. The front bathroom has two toilet cabins and the rear two shower cabins; in both rooms are two sinks. There is a large refrigerator in the kitchen where everyone has their compartment, and according to the same principle the freezer works; there is stove/oven, microwave and sink. Everything else in the kitchen can be used by everyone if it is not otherwise communicated — perhaps you will find something useful. :

There is space for 6 people in this shared dorm flat. At the moment, there are two men and three women living here (without me), as I will be moving out by june. This is more of a shared living of necessity as most of us seldomly donating time together. We do have a cleaning schedule, though. Coming in, there is a wide hallway with two sofas, a big kitchen with a dining table and big windows, and two divided bathrooms so with windows — one with two toilet cubicles and two sinks, and the other with two showerles and two sinks. In the kitchen, there is a big fridge and a big freezer, both divided into one compartement per person; there is a stove/oven, a microwave and a sink. Everything else inside the kitchen can be used by all the flat members, exept when stated otherwise — maybe you will find something useful :)

In dieser Wohnheims-WG ist Platz für insgesamt 6 Leute. Momentan wohnen (ohne mich) zwei Männer und drei Frauen hier; ich werde im Juni ausziehen. Hierbei handelt es sich mehr um eine Zweck-WG, weil wir Mitbewohnenden eher selten etwas zusammen unternehmen. Wir haben aber einen Putzplan. Es gibt einen großen Flur mit zwei Sofas, eine große Küche mit einem Esstisch und großen Fenstern, und ein zweigeteiltes Bad ebenfalls mit Fenstern. Das vordere Bad hat zwei Toilettenkabinen und das hintere zwei Duschkabinen; in beiden Räumen sind jeweils zwei Waschbecken. In der Küche befinden sich ein großer Kühlschrank, in dem jede*r sein*ihr Fach hat, und nach demselben Prinzip funktioniert der Gefrierschrank; es gibt Herd/Backofen, eine Mikrowelle und eine Spüle. Alles, was sich sonst in der Küche befindet, darf von allen benutzt werden, wenn es nicht anders kommuniziert wurde — vielleicht findest du ja etwas Nützliches. :)

Ich werde im Juni aus meinem Wohnheimzimmer ausziehen, kann aber nur auf das Semesterende kündigen — deswegen habe ich das Zimmer noch 4 weitere Monate. Wenn du Interesse daran hast, das Zimmer für die Zeit unterzumieten, schreib mir doch gern mit ein paar Infos über dich (und füg gern hinzu, was dein Lieblingsbuch ist, damit ich die ein oder andere Empfehlung kriege und weiß, dass du bis hierhin gelesen hast) ;)

I will be moving out of my dorm room by june, but cannot quit until september — which is why I will be left with it for 4 months still.
