Small WG room at Edith-Stein-Studentenheim in Weststadt. Although it is not large, however, with the existing Möbiliar it offers an amazing amount of storage space and has a washing corner with sink. It also has a large, stable desk with a versatile work area. Although it is a full residence, it is very quiet, especially in the evening and at night. The room is directed towards the street and has a large window that is soundproofed so that you can hear nothing from the road as soon as it is closed. When the blind is closed, it's also dark.
Showers and toilets are shared with other residents, but it never comes to jam as everyone has a different daily routine. The kitchen and living room and balcony are also common rooms - in the kitchen there are also plenty of storage space (also own cupboards) for various utensils and ingredients. Large refrigerators also offer enough space for everything necessary.

Kleines WG-Zimmer im Edith-Stein-Studentenwohnheim in der Weststadt. Zwar ist es nicht groß, jedoch bietet es mit dem vorhandenen Möbiliar erstaunlich viel Stauraum und verfügt über eine Waschecke samt Waschbecken. Außerdem verfügt es über einen großen, stabilen Schreibtisch, der eine vielseitig nutzbare Arbeitsfläche hat. Obwohl es ein volles Wohnheim ist, ist es sehr ruhig, vor allem abends und nachts. Das Zimmer ist zur Straße gerichtet und hat ein großes Fenster, das schallisoliert ist, sodass man vom Straßenverkehr nichts mehr hört, sobald es geschlossen ist. Wenn die Jalousie geschlossen ist, ist es auch stockfinster.
Duschen und Toiletten teilt man sich mit anderen Bewohnern, jedoch kommt es quasi nie zum Stau, da jeder einen anderen Tagesablauf hat. Die Küche sowie Wohnzimmer und Balkon sind ebenfalls Gemeinschaftsräume - in der Küche gibt es außerdem genügend Stauraum (auch eigene Schränkchen) für diverse Utensilien und Zutaten. Große Kühlschränke bieten ebenfalls genug Platz für alles Notwendige.
The residence is located in Weststadt and has a very good traffic connection (2-5min walk to several bus stops, which are within 12min at HBF, max. 10min to the Westbahnhof).
You need to walk to university 20-25min, with a bike/bus 10 minutes.
There is also the possibility of renting an inhabitant parking space at the residence. If you prefer to travel by bike, you have the possibility to place it either in front of the house or in the spacious bicycle shed. You can walk in the city centre within 10 minutes.
In 5-10 minutes you can reach the Rewe (open until 24:00) and in 5 minutes at the Aldi. In short, there is a DM, a gym (24/7 Gym) - bakeries can also be found in the nourishing environment.
If you like walking, jogging or cycling, you can also get out of town in a few minutes and in the fields of the picturesque Ammertal.
Das Wohnheim liegt in der Weststadt und hat eine sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung (2-5min zu Fuß zu mehreren Bushaltestellen, die innerhalb von 12min beim HBF sind, max. 10min zum Westbahnhof).
Zur Uni braucht man zu Fuß 20-25min, mit Rad/Bus 10 Minuten.
Es gibt außerdem die Möglichkeit, sich einen Bewohnerparkplatz am Wohnheim zu mieten. Wer lieber mit dem Rad unterwegs ist, hat die Möglichkeit dieses entweder vor dem Haus oder im geräumigen Fahrradschuppen abzustellen. Zu Fuß ist man innerhalb von 10 Minuten in der Innenstadt.
In 5-10 Minuten ist man beim Rewe (hat bis 24 Uhr offen) und in 5 Minuten beim Aldi. Kurz dahinter befindet sich ein DM, ein Fitnessstudio (24/7 Gym) - Bäckereien sind ebenfalls in der nähreren Umgebung zu finden.
Wer gerne spazieren, joggen oder radeln geht, ist auch in wenigen Minuten aus der Stadt raus und auf den Feldern des malerischen Ammertals.
Since there is a big WG, everyone lives a bit for themselves - especially since there is a quite high fluctuation in the home. And yet you always find someone for a nice chat in the kitchen.
Da es eine große WG ist, lebt jeder ein bisschen für sich - zumal es im Wohnheim eine recht hohe Fluktuation gibt. Und trotzdem findet man immer jemanden für einen netten Plausch in der Küche.
IMPORTANT:
- The room is for rent to students or trainees, a registration certificate or other corresponding certificate is required!
- The property is NOT suitable for pets.
- The rent is about 345€/month warm, the tenant has to choose a deposit or a discount payment. The amount of the deposit was €190 at the time of my withdrawal.
- The landlord needs the signature of a 2nd tenant (e.g. parent) for a Schufa (request now) trip (if this is not possible, e.g. in the case of orphans, a deposit of 3 month rentals applies)

- Die Unterkunft ist NICHT für Haustiere geeignet.
- Die Miete beträgt etwa 345€/Monat warm, der Mieter hat mWn die Wahl sich für eine Kaution oder eine Abschlagszahlung zu entscheiden. Die Höhe der Abschlagszahlung betrug zum Zeitpunkt meines Einzugs 190€.
- Der Vermieter benötigt die Unterschrift eines 2. Mietinteressenten (bspw. Elternteil) für eine Schufa-Auskunft (Falls dies nicht möglich ist, etwa im Falle von Waisen, fällt eine Kaution in der Höhe von 3 Monatsmieten an)
