A furnished 3-room roof apartment (70 square meters) in Charlottenburg (10585) in a quiet area is offered for free for somebody willing to help with household chores in our private home also located in Charlottenburg/Wilmersdorf (see Sonstige). A full of light and spacious apartment with large windows (including roof windows) and big south-looking balcony consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 living room with an open-plan kitchen and a large bathroom. The apartment has parquet floors. The apartment, built in 1995, is located on the top floor with a view of Charlottenburg Palace. You will find in the apartment: basic furniture (sofa, sofa table, TV, kitchen table, kitchen table chairs, wide bed, a big closet, writing desk) but also a fridge, dishwasher, basic dishes, separate bath, shower cubicle, washing machine.
The apartment is suitable for a couple with a childroom, or for a 2er WG with a common living room.
Around the corner from Schlossstr/Charlottenburg, you will find many parks around, (Charlottenburg Palace park), the Spree is also behind the corner. There is an elementary school (50 meters from the flat), various kindergartens, playgrounds, restaurants, grocery stores, and shops (Wilmersdorfer Straße). Very good bus connections, s-Bahn (Westend), and metro stop (Richard-Wagner-Platz).
Registration (Anmeldung) is possible, and pets are allowed.

Since we do not want to have rent and we are also covering all costs related to the apartment (electricity, heating, water, trash, etc.), the apartment is perfect for you if you are able to help in return with various household chores (general cleaning, ironing, laundry) in our home that is also located in Charlottenburg. The schedule will be agreed based on your availability. We need help about 20 hours per week, ideally 4 hours per day sometimes during business hours.
If this is something for you, we would be happy to show you the apartment. Thus, please send a short message that includes a little bit about yourself, when would you be able to move in and if you have any kind of experience with cleaning (it is not a must though). We will contact selected candidates as soon as possible.
