The furnishing within is minimalistic, so the feeling is one of space and freedom. The interior has an unfinished finish that is both elegant yet unassuming at the same time. Sunlight enters from both sides, basking the apartment in light at nearly all hours.

The unit is situated on the 4th floor on the back of an inner courtyard, which brings the advantage that no noise from traffic or pedestrians reaches it. This means you’ll sleep like a baby even though you’ll be staying in one of Berlin’s liveliest neighbourhoods.

There are five rooms in total: The kitchen, bathroom, balcony, main bedroom, and the living room.

* The kitchen is equipped for serious cooking and includes everything from blenders, to garlic crushers, to mortar and pestles.

* The bathroom is absurdly spacious and has a shower and bathtub.

* The balcony comes with outdoor seating, and it looks out over trees and a beautiful old brick building.

* The main bedroom has a double bed and the room also doubles up a mini-office, thanks to the jumbo white-board and giant bookwall.

* The sitting room has an acoustic piano for the musicians, a ukelele can also be found. It also has a sofa-bed for an extra guest.

Renters should be aware that this apartment is situated in a thoroughly residential building and that, unfortunately, we have a noise sensitive neighbour. They’ll tolerate most things *before* 10pm, but please be respectful and keep the volume down afterwards. And keep piano practice to under 2 hours per day.
