Hi,
Nice flat north of Karl-Marx Allee, a part of Friedrichshain which still be in some way alternative. The flat is 65 m² big, enough to feel comfortable. It simple furnished, has wifi access, brand new washing machine and balcony. You have to cross the living to access the sleeping room, so it is not suitable for flat shares.
There is a fair park just around the corner with funny moments and people. Both rooms face south, Sun enters from March to November. It is the street side also, there aren't much cars, and they go slow, but sometimes trucks, like garbage ones, cross it. Close the double windows if it gets loud, they do quite a good job.

Beyond the street itself with leftist bars, the place is close to the monumental communist avenue Karl-Marx Allee. A big park is a 5 min walk away north, further there is the high-tech olympic swimming pool. South Friedrichshain is home to tourist and students bars, the biggest clubs in town (including Berghain) some galleries and the Spree river.
Central location, with easy public transport connection, 5 minutes from U5 / M10 and 10 min from SRing. The M10 tram runs all night! The U and S too on week ends (N5 night bus on U5 line on weekdays).
Down with the tram you are in Turkish and creative Kreuzberg, up with it in the hip Prenzlauerberg. With the UBahn, you are 20 min from Alexander Platz, the shopping transport hub and the start of Unter den Linden, the museum avenue. Just behind the Volksbühne Theater you'll find the Rosenthaler Platz area with all the cutting edge galleries. And SRing easily connects you to Neukölln, the hipster mecca, in less than 30 min.

I am vegetarian, no meat or fish in the house. Take your shoes off. Please give water to the indoor plants (only if earth is dry). Give some fresh air from time to time. No dogs. No party at home. No arrogance toward the neighbors, especially the leftist kids. No pictures of the left house projects, it irritates them. Don't open the door if you don't expect anybody. Please report every broken or missing object, even without value. If you don't, the full deposit will be retained.
I will be away so please don't mess up my life.
