Truly a great location, literally just around the corner from all the Oranienstrasse/Kotbusser Tor fun stuff, but quietly situated on the thin park that runs up from Qranienplatz (a perfect jogging stretch; used to be a canal that they filled in and made a cool park that is below normal ground level).

Just one block south of the Engelbecken cafe, one of the best-kept secrets in Kreuzberg. The 150-year-old restaurant Kuchen Kaiser is on the ground floor of the building - very quiet and gemütlich spot with terrace seating in a great outdoor space.
Lots of restaurants, shops, etc close by: Falafel, döner, Mexican, Vietnamese, sushi, everything...
