The flat consists of a nicely proportioned bedroom looking over a green inner courtyard (so 100% quiet), a bathroom with a bathtub (internal, with a ventilation system), a little storage room / washing room with the washing machine (which you could take over) and a large room with a built-in kitchen and living room combined, with the balcony going off it.
The whole place is super super quiet (the street is mostly a pedestrian street), with a green view on both sides. It has huge huge windows and is very light.
The place was brand new when we moved in so you'd be the second in. Everything is still in good condition and there finishings are modern and high-spec e.g electric shutters on the windows. There's a bike cellar, lift and underground parking.
The flat is right on the border between Kreuzberg and Mitte, so super central.
In terms of transport, it's between U-Moritzplanz (U8) and U-Spittelmarkt (U2).
You're 10 minutes walk from Kottbusser Tor, a very lively area with lots of places to eat, drink etc, and just a couple of stops on the U-Bahn from Alexanderplatz (centre of town), so it's super super central. In the immediate neighbourhood there's a little park and some supermarkets (Alnatura and Netto) and then if you walk up towards Moritzplatz you get into the area with bars.
Overall it's a quiet and pleasant street with excellent connections to anywhere you would want to go in Berlin.
We're looking either for a Nachmieter who wants to take over the place fully OR someone who wants to stay as a sublet for 3 months until our notice period is finished with the Hausverwaltung.
The place is semi-furnished now and all furniture could be taken over. There is an EBK.
