Ich suche ein andere Person, die sich an einer regelmäßiges Wohnungstausch zwischen Berlin und Giessen interessiert. (Hier der Link meines Gesuches: https://www.wg-gesucht.de/8985473.html?ma=1)
Über meine Wohnung in Berlin: Liegt in Kreuzberg, in der “lange” Reichenbergerstr 300 Meter von Kotti entfernt. 2-Zimmer, 1. Etage. Schlafzimmer, großes Wohn-Ess-Arbeitszimmer, großes Badezimmer mit Waschmaschine und Badewanne. Küche mit Spülmaschine. Leider kein Balkon. Wie gesagt wohnt ein Hund mit mir zu Hause, deswegen wäre besser, wenn du kein Allergien hättest.
Gleich neben der Wohnung ist eine Baustelle, und Montags bis Samstags gibts tagsüber etwas Lärm. Es stört mich überhaupt nicht, kommt wahrscheinlich aber darauf an, wie empfindlich man ist.
Allgemein ist es eine super Wohnung in eine wunderbare Lage.

My apartment in Berlin is in Kreuzberg, the “long” Reichenbergerstr. just a block from Kottbusser Tor. It’s a 2-room apartment on the first floor. One room is a bedroom, the other a sizable living-dining-study room. (And a separate bathroom and kitchen.) It has a dishwasher and a washing machine, and a nice big bathtub for those like me who like a bath in the winter. No balcony.
As mentioned above, a dog lives with me, so it’s best if you aren’t allergic.
There’s construction on the building next door Monday through Saturday. The noise doesn’t bother me at all, but I guess it depends on how sensitive you are.
It is a wonderful apartment in a wonderful spot.
Direkt am Kottbusser Tor (U1/U8/U3/U2). In ein paar Minuten ist man an der Maybachufer, wo es Dienstags und Samstags der berühmter Markt gibt. 10 Minuten zu Fuß nach Görlitzer Park. Bioladen in meiner Straße usw.

Am besten für mich in Giessen wäre eine Wohnung, die:
Einen süßen, mittelgroßen Hund beherbergen könnte.
Keine MitbewohnerInnen hat (obwohl ich ein WG erwägen würde, wenn die Situation SEHR gut zu mir und meinem Hund passt).
Einfache Zugang zur ATW anbietet.
Im Wintersemester möchte ich nach Giessen ungefähr einmal per Monat fahren, jedes Mal für 4 bis 5 Tage.
Im Spring/Sommersemester würde ich vielleicht etwas länger bleiben, bis zur 1 Monat oder so.
Ich wäre sehr flexibel wegen der Planung meine Besuche. Wir können auch natürlich jederzeit sagen, wenn eine bestimmte Tausch einfach nicht geht.
Über mich: bin Amerikanerin, 35 Jahre alt, promoviere mich gerade in Theaterwissenschaft und bin mit einem DAAD-Stipendium hier für zumindest 1 Jahr. Meine amerikanische Uni ist The Graduate Center, City University of New York, aber in Deutschland bin ich (als Free-Mover PhD) an JLU matrikuliert und in der ATW zu Gast. Ich kann gut Deutsch. Mir ist es sehr wichtig, ein gemütliches Zuhause zu haben, und freue mich auf so eine “home-away-from-home” in Giessen.

My ideal situation in Giessen would be:
Welcoming to a sweet, medium-sized dog
Without flatmates (I will consider a WG if the fit seems VERY good)
Easy access to the ATW
In the winter semester I would like to come to Giessen once per month or so, for 4 or 5 days.
In the spring/summer semester, I might come for a longer time, perhaps a few weeks or a month.
I would be flexible about when and how we do the swaps; we can arrange them to suit us both and of course we can always say no if a swap doesn’t work.
About me: I’m American, 35 years old, female, currently in Germany on a one-year DAAD scholarship, researching the intersections of experimental practice in physics and performance for my dissertation. My university in the USA is The Graduate Center, City University of New York; in Germany I am matriculated at Giessen and hosted by the ATW. I speak good German. I love to keep a warm, welcoming home, and would really like to find a good home-away-from-home in Giessen.
