It is a stunning traditional Berlin 'Altbau' 100m2 apartment (3 rooms), with polished and restored parquet flooring, ornate stucco ceilings and 3-metre tall wooden double doors between adjoining rooms. The large dining room is decorated with antique wooden furniture, and includes a quaint-looking safe in the far wall. The living room has a modern theme, including the comfiest of sofas, steel bookshelves, high-quality home-made speakers, a stereo-system and a smart TV. A small French balcony overlooks the street. Both the dining room and living room look out onto Torstraße. The bedroom features a kingsize futon bed and two large wardrobes, and looks out onto a calm inner courtyard. The kitchen is fully equipped (including washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine etc.), while the cozy bathroom fits a bathtub by the window. A very fast internet connection (50 Mbit/s) is available in the entire flat via wifi.
The apartment is about 5 minutes' walk to both Rosenthaler Platz (U8 to Kreuzberg and Wedding) and Rosa-Luxemburg Platz (U2 to Potsdamer Platz/ City west and Prenzlauer Berg). Torstraße is one of the most lively streets in Berlin, with enough to do both during the day and at night. Trendy cafes, restaurants and bars can be found on every corner.
