Hej!
We're Markus and Aya and are subletting our apartment for the time of our holidays.
It's a very cosy, bright, big apartment for 2 people with a huge balcony - and some plants, herbs, vegetables to care for.
The apartment is usually quiet and you can easily sleep with open windows, except for the morning hours, when children start using the playground in front of the building. Unfortunately, there is a construction next door that might wake you up one or the other day if you sleep in late. With closed windows though, we have never really considered it as a problem.
Inside, there's everything for a comfy living. A huge couch, a nice sound system, an e-piano we hope to have fixed until you'd arrive, an acoustic guitar and a cajon (careful use with the neighbours...)! The fridge is huge, the double-bed has nice new mattresses and well, the dishwasher is old and sounds like an old, hardworking machine.
The apartment is located between U/S (U8; S-Ring) Hermannstraße and U Grenzallee (U7). We enjoy the little bike ride to either of these stations, but it's also in walking distance of 8-12 minutes. The sourounding is generally peaceful and easy-going. Within less than 10 minutes of biking, you're at the Tempelhofer Feld and it's a nice biking ride as well through a green corridor with possibilities to play table tennis or beach volleyball. Nice bars and cafes are less than ten minutes away; supermarket is also close.
We usually cycle everywhere in Neukölln, Kreuzberg and Mitte.
