Situated in the heart of popular Prenzlauer Berg, this attractive Berlin apartment makes shopping and sightseeing a convenient pleasure during your short stay.
The beauty of the interior lies in the original combination of vintage and new. Opal white walls combine with wooden floors, elegant dark-green doors and retro furnishings (no ikea!) , mid century design lamps and porcelain switches to create a universal charm.
The walls of all rooms are decorated with vintage polish posters designed for operas and circus shows.
With some superb nightspots, countless restaurants and shops on your doorstep, (two supermarkets, one of which organic, just 1 min away) you will be spoilt for choice by day and night.
Fully equipped apartment: TV, 2 laundry machines and two dryers of the prestigious brand Miele, 1 dish-washer, microwave, kettle etc...
Neighbourhood and location:
The über-cool Prenzlauer Berg neighbourhood of Berlin is a hit with Berliner locals and artists for its superb vintage shopping, Mauerpark's famed fleamarket, and brunch cafés. Countless pubs, restaurants, cafés, galleries and little shops create a day and nightlife atmosphere unraveled in the rest of Berlin. Prenzlauer Berg is one of the most popular central districts in Berlin and one of the prettiest neighbourhoods, still central, yet quieter than Berlin Mitte. Much of Prenzlauer Berg escaped damage in the second world war and post war redevelopment. Nowadays Prenzlauer Berg offers trendy shopping with many street style fashion designers selling their wares in trendy boutiques.
Public Transportation:
Excellent public transport connections take you into Mitte in just few minutes, where you can visit main Berlin attractions, such as Alexanderplatz, Museum Island or Hackescher Markt. Nearby S-Bahn: Prenzlauer Allee S9 , Ringbahn , S8; Nearby U-Bahn: Schönhauser Allee (U2). The apartment, although apparently far on the map, is also well connected to the fair Berlin-Messe, that can be reached with the line 42 in just 25 minutes. The Tram M2, that can be taken at S-Prenzlauerallee, takes in a few minutes to Alexanderplatz.
