Nearby you will find the train station Ullsteinstrasse and the famous Tempelhofer harbour is only a walk away. Since 1908 the first and famous steel construction of the storehouse and the port was built, in 1920 this was still part of the community Teltow, one of the richest communities in Germany, it used to be a storage for food during wartimes and postwar times and with it`s 30.000 sqm has recently been refurbished for 100 million € following plans of the famous Rotterdam archtitecs West 8 landscape architects bv.
Since 2009 a mall followed,shopping is a stroll away and real pleasure in this area and from 2012 onwards a free ferry brings people from the eastmole to the western pier of the Teltow channel.
Around Tempelhofer Damm there are numerous shops, pharmacies, schools and daycare, public transport is close by, the U 6 is the subway line to Mitte, Friedrichstrasse – only 15 minutes by train
