Das neue Haus (im Jahr 2018 ausgebaut) ist im ruhigen, grünen Standort in der Nähe vom Biosphärenreservat Spreewald situiert. Im Haus gibt es nur 4 Wohnungen insgesamt. Obwohl der Standort des Hauses noch als Gewerbegebiet steht, gibt es keine industriellen Gesellschaften oder Fabriken, nur kleine Büros und private Wohnungen und Häuser. Der Wald ist zu Fuß in nur einigen Minuten.
Das Haus ist problemlos mit dem Auto (Parkplatz), Fahrrad (ca. 20 Minuten vom Altmarkt) oder Bus (Nr. 19 direkt oder Nr. 15 und Nr. 47 bis zur Haltestelle "Cottbus-Center") erreichbar. Was das Lebensmittel besteht, das Netto-Markt (ca. 5 Min mit dem Fahrrad) und Kaufland (ca. 7 Min) stehen Ihnen zur Verfügung. In der Nähe gibt es auch einige Arztpraxen. Parkplatz kostet 7 Euro pro Monat.
