Es gibt die SBahn Station "Brackel-S" die zu Fuss innerhalb von ca 3 min zu erreichen ist, zu der Stadtbahnhaltestelle "Brackel- Kirche" sind es ca 10 min.
Ins "Dorf" wo sich ein Edeka, Rossmann, DM, ein Biosupermarkt sowie viele andere Geschäfte und zb auch Arztpraxen befinden braucht man ca 10 min zu Fuß.
Mit dem Auto oder auch dem Fahrrad kommt man aber auch gut zu einem Aldo oder Rewe.
Nahe Erholungsgebiete sind auch vorhanden. Zb. Ist der Hauptfriedhof innerhalb weniger Gehminuten erreichbar. Der Friedhof ist ein beliebtes Ziel für Spaziergänger und auch Eltern mit ihren Kindern, da es einen sehr modernen Spielplatz gibt.
