Die Bundesstraße 1 (Ruhrschnellweg) liegt in ca. 5 km Entfernung. Von hier gelangt man auf die A 40 und die A 45 und von dort auf alle anderen Autobahnen um Dortmund.
Mit der S-Bahn ist die TU Dortmund in 20 Minuten zu erreichen.
Da die Wohnung über eine Gasetagenheizung beheizt wird sind die Heizkosten nicht in den Nebenkosten enhalten. Bisher lag der monatliche Abschlag für Strom und Gas bei 110 € monatlich.
