Die Straße wimmelt von Fußgängern und (zum Glück) gibt es nur sehr wenig Verkehr. Zur Seine, zum Centre Pompidous und zum Pariser Rathaus sind es zu Fuß 10 Minuten.
Es gibt mehrere Metro- und Busstationen, die gut zu erreichen sind (Metro: Filles du Calvaire, Saint-Sébastien-Froissart, Oberkampf, St. Paul).
Auch die Place de la République sowie Gare de l´Est sind nicht weit weg. Man kommt überall in der Stadt gut hin, wobei das Marais dazu einlädt, einfach durch die schönen Straßen zu spazieren.
