This apartment is located in an excellent area — in fact, in the second district of Vienna. In the neighbourhood, you will find many different restaurants and cafes which you can choose according to your taste. Also generally the transport system in Vienna is very comfortable so that you won't struggle from a long way from point A to point B.
As for shopping, there is a BILLA (supermarket) right near the corner, so there won't be any problem carrying heavy bags through the city. Also, there is HOFER 5 minutes walk away. Please note that on Saturday, all shops and supermarkets in Vienna close earlier that during the working days and are closed on Sunday. An exception is BILLA at Praterstern and SPAR at the central train station: Hauptbahnhof.

If you would like to take a breath of fresh air, you can walk along the little river, which your apartment is located right next to. The other option is Prater Hauptallee which is 10 minutes walk away; the 4.4 kilometres of dead-straight paths between the multiple rows of chestnut trees are always an excellent place to get some fresh air.
