Hello!
I will be traveling for 2 weeks and in this time want to rent out my charming, cozy apartment on the 2nd floor. There is a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom with a bath. The place is made for 2 people, but a 3rd or maybe even a 4th can join because there is an extra single mattress and pull-out couch - but at this point it will get too cosy! The kitchen can comfortably seat 4 with a window facing a balcony/pathway that you can access from the building. Two large windows overlook the beautiful Mainz cathedral in addition to the lovely trains coming and going through Mainz Kastel station.
I am looking for someone to stay in my home "Airbnb style": there is a smart TV, you'll have to use your own Netflix but Disney+ is available. The monitors will not be available with the desk, but you'll have a nice, well lit working station (if any of that bright light becomes too much then feel free to bring the shutters down.) As you work, feel free to let some of my records play, I have a small collection of rock, funk, disco, and classical - take your pic!
In the bedroom, a comfortable bed and desk await you for when you get ready, the closet will be emptied to fill with your clothes. You'll find a washing machine, clothes dryer rack, iron & ironing board. I believe for a temporary stay you'll have everything you need.
And if you find you're in need of some items, a shop is never too far! You can either walk 5 minutes to Netto, or 10 minutes to Hit. You can also take a lovely stroll across the bridge into Mainz, or a bus there or into Mainz-Kostheim for Aldi, Rewe, & DM or even Bauhaus - the bus stop is just underneath the building! And with the train station across the street, you can take train directly to Wiesbaden or Frankfurt Hbf. Everything is available!
Of course, the little Kastel neighbourhood shouldn't be disregarded - beyond the train tracks you'll find the beautiful Rhein and through there you can even get to a Turkish shop 10-15 minutes by foot. A döner place, a pizzeria, a cafe that serves both ice cream and cakes, a mobile shop, a barbershop, a thrift shop, a bakery and 2 kiosks are all within reach in 5 minutes or less of the buildings front door.
The apartment over looks lovely views at a cost, it can get quite noisy here as we are on a main street. The traffic light sounds could go all night and you will hear cars and trains coming and going, but with the window closed you will sleep soundly.
I do expect to return to the flat in the same state: clean and complete. Otherwise, your deposit will not be refunded. 850 is water, heat and 5G internet inclusive.
