Hey people,
We have been running this house as a Bipoc project now for 2 years, with ups and downs, In 2024 we started with a new structure WLINTA core tries to create a safe space for our grassroots community, and we are interested in new people to join us.
We have free rooms in our house and we are looking for new home mates who want to do (test)living with us!
We have one shared household of 3 floors, 2 kitchens, and a huge common space. We are around 10 and some are moving out, people of different cultures, languages, backgrounds, and skills aged between 20 and 45 years. The rent includes everything, food, and hygiene stuff. Besides our mostly precarious life situations, we have in common the goodwill for a nice and solidaristic living together, some cultural ideals and actions, and a laid-back everyday life.
We have a cat that´s the actual owner of the house so in case you have a pet we will have to ask her majesty. Her name is Witte. : )
There is a sports room, a giant living room, a shadow balcony, a barbecue and fire garden, a public space for groups to meet down, a communal library, and a sound studio too.
We are in a very central location, close to the city, but also close to a lake and the canal.
What we have to ask about you is the wish to collectively be organized and the time capacities for that.
We do one meeting every week and it's not just like a big WG, everyone takes on long-term responsibilities/tasks at some point because we have this big house to look after so please bring your creativity and a sense of community with you : )
Please tell us some about your situation, your good and bad stuff, your boundaries, and what's important for you.
Thank you for the effort and please forgive if our process goes slow or chaotic, it is always hard to bring everyone's agendas together.
