Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Zur Uni und Mensa Academica sind es zu Fuß ca. 5 Minuten, zur Innenstadt ca. 15 min. Des Weiteren sind entferntere Teile der Stadt aufgrund der unmittelbaren Nähe zum ÖPNV (Bus und Bahn an der Haltestelle Westbahnhof) gut erreichbar. Günstige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bieten der Lidl und der Aldi in unmittelbarer Nähe. Auch ein Rewe ist in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Ebenfalls ist die bekannte Pontstraße mit ihren Restaurants, Bars und Clubs schnell zu Fuß erreichbar.
Zur grünen und ruhigen Abwechslung steht der nahegelegene Lousberg zur Verfügung.
Für sport Begeisterte befindet sich neben der Sportanlagen der RWTH Aachen auch mehrere Fitnessstudios (WOF, WOF Pure, Selection Fitness) in der Umgebung.


The apartment is located in a quiet side street. It takes about 5 minutes on foot to reach the university and the cafeteria, and about 15 minutes to the city center. Furthermore, more distant parts of the city are easily accessible due to the immediate proximity to public transportation (bus and train at the “Westbahnhof” stop). Convenient shopping options are provided by the nearby Lidl and Aldi supermarkets. There is also a Rewe supermarket within a 10-minute walk.

Additionally, the well-known Pontstraße with its restaurants, bars, and clubs is quickly accessible on foot. For a green and peaceful change of scenery, the nearby Lousberg is available. For sports enthusiasts, there are several fitness studios in the area, including WOF, WOF Pure, and Selection Fitness, in addition to the sports facilities of the RWTH Aachen.

Hallo mein Name ist Jochen, ich bin 25 Jahre alt und mache aktuell meine Bachelor in Maschinenbau. In meiner Freizeit treffen ich mich gerne mit meinen Freunden online, kochen (vegan), zeichne und höre während dessen gerne Musik mit Kopfhörer auf. Ebenfalls mache regelmäßig Sport, so gehe ich ab und zu laufen und mache seit lange Zeit Kampfsportarten.

Der andere Mitbewohner heißt Robin. Er ist 30 Jahre alt und ist gerade mit seinen Master in Geowissenschaften fertig geworden und ist nun berufstätig. Er verbringt häufig Zeit mit seiner Freundin oder spielt mit Freunden online. Er kocht ebenfalls gerne und besucht ab und zu das Fitnessstudio.

Ich würde unsere WG als nett und offen bezeichnen. Gerne unterhalten wir uns und leisten einander gesellschaft während des kochens. Für das Putzen der WG haben wir einen Plan der jede Woche rotiert, sowie einen Saugroboter der einem dabei unterstützt kann. Ein gewisses Grundverständnis für Sauberkeit und Privatsphäre ist uns wichtig. Es ist dir überlassen, ob du deine Ruhe haben möchtest oder aktiv am WG-Leben teilhaben und dieses mitgestalten möchtest.


Hi, my name is Jochen, I'm 25 years old and I'm currently doing my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. In my free time I like to meet up with my friends online, cook (vegan), draw and listen to music with my headphones on. I also do sports regularly, so I go running from time to time and have been doing martial arts for a long time.

The other flatmate is called Robin. He is 30 years old and has just finished his master's degree in geosciences and is now working. He often spends time with his girlfriend or plays online with friends. He also likes to cook and goes to the gym from time to time.

I would describe our flat share as nice and open. We like to chat and keep each other company while we cook. We have a weekly cleaning schedule and a robot vacuum cleaner that can help us with this. A certain basic understanding of cleanliness and privacy is important to us. It's up to you whether you want to have your peace and quiet or actively participate in and help shape life in the shared flat.

Aktuell ist Robin als Hauptmieter eingetragen. Da er mittlerweile berufstätig geworden ist, wird er bald nach einer eigenen Wohnung suchen. Es ist bereits abgesprochen, dass die WG vorgeführt wird und ich als neuer Hauptmieter eingesetzt werde. Das wir euch viele Möglichkeit bieten euer eigen Ideen für die WG miteinzubringen und diese mitzugestalten.

Robin is currently registered as the main tenant. As he is now working, he will soon be looking for his own apartment.
