Welcome to Berlin!
This beautiful room can be your home away from home and even comes with your very own balcony!
It is superbright, spacious and tastefully furnished, among others with an incredibly comfortable queensize boxspring bed and a rocking armchair.
It will be available again from November 1st till March 31st because I will be working abroad and traveling.
For your convenience linens and towels are already included in the price. Just come with your suitcase and you are all set, we have everything here!
During your stay you can of course also use our bathroom (with morning sun and natural light) including the washing machine and dryer as well as our huge (35 square meters) kitchen and dining room area in which you will find everything you might need (even a dishwasher).
The entire flat is beautiful and sunny, with high ceilings (3,30) and wood floors (Altbau).
Of course you can use our WIFI internet for free.
Since I will be coming back, I will leave a few of my things in the room and not move out entirely, but I guarantee you that you will still find sufficient space in the wardrobe and dresser for your stuff.
Our apartment is conveniently located very close to the S-Bahn-station "Baumschulenweg" where you will find 6 different lines with trains leaving every few minutes.
Line 9 takes you directly to Alexanderplatz, Hauptbahnhof, Zoo etc.
There are also 3 buslines.
Direct connection to the airport!
Just around the corner is Plänterwald and Treptower Park where you can go jogging, take walks etc. along the river Spree.
There is also a public indoor swimming pool and a tennis club within 2 minutes walk.
Everything you might need for your daily life is right here as well (countless bakeries, hairdressers, banks, several stores and supermarkets etc.).
The area (Baumschulenweg) is rather modest and casual -and very safe; it has more like a small town feel to it, yet with the great S-Bahn-connection you are quickly where the action is.
The best part about this WG are the lovely flatmates :-)!
You will share the flat with Shanaya from India, Pratibha from Nepal and Honey from the Philipines, and they are just wonderful:
friendly, helpful, tidy, respectful -and we expect you to be the same.
This is clearly no Party-WG!
We take turns cleaning the common rooms of the flat every week. So every four weeks it will be your turn to clean the joined spaces.
But also in between the weekly cleaning it is extremely important for us that everyone cleans up after themselves so we maintain a clean joint area.
Everyone takes care of their own room and respects the privacy of the other flatmates.
I am looking exclusively for applications from nice women/girls (sorry guys!).
International women/girls are strongly prefered because I know how important it is to have a decent and safe place when you come to a strange country, since I am a stranger myself somewhere in this world at least twice per year.
Anmeldung (registration) is possible.
Cleanliness and tidiness is VERY important here. Please only apply if you can absolutely adjust to this! Smoking is not allowed.
Since I care a lot about the environment I would greatly appreciate if you do not waste resources (water, electricity, heating, trash). This aspect is even more important with the energy crisis and the corresponding sky-rocketing prices!
It would be a plus if you have a green thumb because we have lots of palmtrees and flowers in our flat, but it is not a must.
